One of our hunters ran into an animal of a life time, connecting with this great Cape Kudu. You just don't know what you will run into while hunting our areas.
Let's see who passes the test.
He's not what you think.

Hard one to judge, but very deep. 58? Whatever, I would have been delighted to have had an opportunity at him.

Beautiful Kudu!

Great kudu for EC I see 56 writen all over that one....thick bases deep curls worn down on one tip...he aint getting any bigger....
Photos are difficult to judge but a great kudu

Very nice Kudu, I'll guess 59"

Great height and curl size. Missing the outward curl some get but very nice. Just gonna say 55+ but under 60.

I thought the same with the title: a really large elephant or, closer to my neck of the woods, a 10.5' brown bear.

Just because everyone is guessing upper 50s I'll go 61.5. :p

Very Nice, 54"

Judging from its deep curl, my guess would be 62”.

What a kudu bull! No idea size wise, but he gets my heart beating faster! :D

Just because you used the word giant and his bases are so big I'll say 60" seeing how he's wirn down a little. But really I have no clue and IvW saying 56" has me thinking it's less.

Nice Bull- 57" is my guess. Definitely a shooter !
Congrats !!

Regardless, he is fantastic--I type this in the shadow of a 60 inch bull and across from a 54 inch bull, and he would proudly go on the wall between them!! 58+

Remarkably similar to this bull from the upper Luangwa which measures 59”. The first curl on this bull is deeper so I’m guessing it’s an inch or two longer, say 60” give or take. Regardless, it is an impressive trophy.

That’s a nice Kudu. I am not good at judging at all so I will pass on that but I am excited to know

I will say probably more (maybe significantly more) than 60", the pic makes it difficult to be definitive, but what struck me immediately was the ratio between horns length and face length.

WAB's post comforted me, see the difference with the verified 59" Kudu in his post... This being said we all know the camera can be deceiving ... one way or the other...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
