I dont know how much trouble there is with an import from Spain to the US but this seems like a very nice price for a Heym 88B in .470 Nitro Express. 3900 euros seems like a bargain.

Since it is the PH-model it is completly devoid of engraving, but still a quality rifle from a good maker.

If I had not allready made up my mind about not owning a double rifle again I would probably bought it myself.

That’s the most affordable Heym double I’ve seen.

There was a local one here listed recently for quite cheap but it would have worked out to 12,000 Euro.

A Heym 88b in 470NE for 3900 Euro ? You would be crazy not to buy it.
I'm actually wondering if there is no hidden defect at that price. It should normally fetch easily 8000 Euro, if not 10KEUR.

Although it is listed as "new" or "impeccable condition", from the pictures it looks well used, you have the added cheekpiece, as well as someone bolted some picatinny or weaver rail on top. But still, Heym 88b in 470NE for 3900 Euro...

That does nothing to the value in my opinion. And since it is a PH model, for all you know it might have belonged to an (in)famous PH in retirement. What an honour to continue to carry this rifle in the bush.
