Hello All

Welcome aboard Williepete. Lots of Ex G.I.s here. Please tell us a little more about yourself as a hunter. Things like what have you hunted in the past, what kind and caliber rifles do you own, do you reload etc.

Hello Shootist -

Sorry for the delay in response; I’ve had my hands full.

I’ve been busy with a lot of life, but am approaching Empty Nest very soon. My hunting experience has been regional status quo stuff - deer, turkey, etc - and it’s been a while. I plan on getting more involved this coming fall once the caboose goes off to college.

Reloading has been been low volume, mostly straight wall stuff. I also like antique, obsolete calibers (a bit of a Webley fan). Again, with the pandemic and some messy life events, that tailed off along with shooting. I have a knack for firearms and ballistics; it’s not really the kind of thing I lose with diminished involvement. I’ll pick it right back up where I left off.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
