Also, I live in Anchorage, Alaska.
My wife has a Latvian friend here who has recommended to us the Eastern European Market, about 6 or 7 Kilometers from our house.
They sell many products from Latvia (as well as from other East Euro. Countries).

The Latvian smoked spraats, on heavy rye bread, with coarse mustard and chopped red onion, is a favorite of ours.
We often have that while sitting out on the wooden deck behind our house, during our short summers here.
This Latvian treat goes well with locally brewed beer.
