Hello from Central South Africa

Welcome Thinus! I've really enjoyed your pics, hunting advice and bullet performance intelligence on the GS site and look forward to seeing it here.

Welcome! Great to have you here sharing your experiences and expertise.

I

I work solely for the one property. It is all in one block, divided by the Orange river with two thirds in the Free State province and a third in the Northern Cape province.

Welcome, I'm sure you will enjoy it here !

How does it work on you PH licensing when your guiding area is in two different provinces, do you get the other province endorsement & have another book, this is interesting, could be good for different animal permits ?

Welcome to AH! I've had the opportunity to hunt the Free State, not far from Bloemfontein. Beautiful country and great place to hunt. In my opinion for some reason a lesser known and hunted part of RSA in comparison to the Eastern Cape, Limpopo and the Northwest Province that should be considered more.

Welcome to the forum.

Perhaps you will share with the rest of us some of your hunting experiences good and bad from a PH 's perspective.

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!
