Hi all. I am trying to find a good mount for the integral base on the Heym Express rifle to mount either an RMR, Aimpoint T2 or ACRO P2.

Not having much luck finding anything other than just using rings and mounting either an Aimpoint 9000L or a regular scope.

Lower the better if you know of anything. It will never sit as low as the irons but it would be great to find an option for a red dot slammed low as possible.

Thank you!

Contact Heym USA. They make a RMR mount specifically for the integral bases.

It’s not on their site for some reason, but I have a couple for express and one for my 89. Chris will get you squared away.

I spoke with Chris today and unfortunately he said the company that made them is no longer making them.

Please advise if you know of any plan B to get a RMR on a Express rifle

Try contacting Ralf Martini. He probably has a viable option for you.

That’s unfortunate. Surprised that they didn’t find another machine shop to make that simple little part.

You might read through this thread and do something similar.

I had a gunsmith make me a special mount for my ZKK602 450 Rigby for an Aimpoint Micro H1, pretty sure anyone willing will be able to make on for you.

I thought about having this done at a machine shop near home. Might have switched gears for a Leupold 1-6 in some Alaska arms rings.

Won’t be mounted low as I had hoped for but could be better for my vision that is not what it was at 20 haha

I’ve been looking for an RMR mount that fits a Talley base. I believe the Heym receiver slots are basically the same as a Talley base, as it takes Talley rings. I have not been able to find anything either. I asked Parkwest Arms about it as well, and they said they don’t know of anything on the market. You’d think this is something that Talley would make themselves, as that would probably be a good selling item.

Agreed. I wish they would. One thing I love about the express rifle is the weight without the scope and the way it fits so well when using the irons.

I’m just not as effective as with an optic. Really hate to admit that but it’s real lol.

I posted this in another thread on the same topic.
Hi, I'm hoping to get an answer to an old question here. Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I have a Trijicon SRO sight, mounted on an AHR quick-release base that fits the bridge of a CZ550/BRNO 602. Does anyone know if I will need to modify this base in order for it to fit on the Heym Martini express?

BUYER BEWARE!

Heym USA took my money for a Heym mount 2 years ago and never sent the mount.

Lots of talk and no mount or refund since Chris couldn't deliver.

With this the Trijicon Mount I purchased works fine.

So, are there any leads on a mount that will take a Trijicon RMR or SRO for the Heym?

Yes. Trijicon makes one that works on the Heym 89B (which is the one I have).

I'd suggest you call Trijicon for whatever rifle you have.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
