Thank you sir. I'd be interested in some of your light bullet load recipes if you don't mind.Nice rifle & a very nice under rated cartridge, I have a few of them, all bolt guns, would like to try one regulated for the 320gr load but really the 270gr is more than needed on the game you should be shooting with the 2.5in, I use 200, 220gr, 235gr, 250gr some meant for the .375Win which are getting a bit hard to find now days.
It is a Lot more than the .375Win & Not a .303 Brit case necked up, you could use them (30/40 Krag & modified .444Marlin, 405Win) but loads do work best in the proper cases.
Thank you sir.@degoins your H&H is beautiful. And in a very useful caliber!

Beautiful rifle.

I've never had much trouble getting lighter bullets to regulate in the doubles I've owned. I had a vintage Alex Henry that actually listed a load for light and heavy bullets in the ledger.Id have to have a deep dig to see if I wrote any thing down on those, but I used RL15 & AR2208 (Varget same) my Westley Richards loves the 220gr load, not sure you will have any joy with light bullets in a Double if regulated for the 270gr slug ?
