Home workouts for heavy poundage bows

Yeah my high country bows both have dual cams. And my mathews is solo cam do you recommend workout out and shooting everyday? As far as form goes is high shoulder and elbow good?

You are probably going to get many different replies to this question, and all of them may be correct to some extent.

With that said, I recommend shooting your actual bow every day or at least a few days a week to maintain muscle memory and form, and of course practice.... However, if you are trying to build strength up to shoot heavier poundage, I would not recommend shooting that heavier poundage every day. I would work your way up to your goal draw weight slowly, over weeks to months...

In other words, do the workouts to increase strength every other day or 3 days per week... Shoot your bow at a manageable poundage every day or at least every other day on the off days from your strength training... Slowly, and incrementally, increase your draw weight as your overall strength increases...

If you are drawing 70lbs. comfortably right now, you should have no problem building up to your goal within several weeks if you strength train regularly... Just curious... Wy are you trying to shoot 80lbs?

Maybe I am a little biased, but consistently doing pull-ups will increase quite a few of the surrounding muscles, and your back.

I would also suggest to not neglect core. So much power is generated from the core, more than most realize.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
