Hi Guys I would like to ask anyone out there for there knowledge and experience with Nosler E-Tips.
I have for a long time been a big fan of Barnes bullets and didn’t think there was enough different to warrant going there. How do they perform on game and are they accurate.

They are deadly accurate in my M. Forbes ultralight in 7x57. I have killed 4 deer and several pigs and all shots have been pass throughs.

Safe shooting

I elk hunted with a group several years ago and one gentleman used e tips in his .280. Cleanly took a large cow elk approx 200 yards. I helped with the quartering, impressive results.

I have heard mixed comments on there accuracy but like any bullet it all comes down to suiting the rifle.
I am keen to try them in my 338 rum. The 225 gr has a BC of .611 which is way above the Barnes in that weight plus they are somewhat shorter in length, taking up less case capacity. Another thing I was concerned about was that nearly ever other mono bullet has rings cut into its shank relieving pressure, supposedly increasing accuracy and reducing fouling. With the E-Tip not having any rings I was wondering how they compare, any experience regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

The newer E-Tips have a pressure groove, or at least the 182 grain .308" I got a couple of months ago do. I haven't a chance yet to work up a load for them.

Certainly accurate. Not tried on game though

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
