I have a friend who was sent over to Denmark for a couple of weeks for work. The person that he was doing the work for had roebuck on his property and allowed him to go hunt one, lucky guy. He managed to shoot one and now is back in the US.

Does anyone know what the requirements are for bringing the skull plate and antlers back to the US? I am sure that there are some regulations but a quick search didn't turn up anything.

Will he be returning any time soon? Put it in his luggage and declare it on entry. There won’t be a problem.
I don’t know the legalities of simply putting in the mail. I know it’s a common occurrence though.

He's already back.

While I haven't talked to him about it yet but I think that the plan is to ship it. But if he is traveling back over I mention that he might just put it in his suitcase for the trip home.

I meant returning to Denmark. It’s just not worth the cost to ship and clear like African trophies. If regular mail will accept it is cost effective. I just took 4 roe bucks in Sweden last week. They will stay in Europe until I can make a plan to pick them up in person and put in my bag. That will generally be my plan on future roe buck hunts if they aren’t boiled and cleaned immediately.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
