Introduction: Captain Coleman A. Landers USN, Ret.

Welcome!

And thank you for your service!

You've found a great place here. Enjoy.

Welcome aboard, Sir!

Were you ever on the INDEPENDENCE, INCHON, IWO JIMA or BARNSTABLE COUNTY? Was a Marine aboard those ships in the 70s.

Great site here...glad you found us!

Tim

Who are you hunting with
Small outfitter: Koringkoppie Safaris near Thabazimbi. A repurchased service now expanded to US hunters for about 4 years. See the website. Featured on a tv show a couple of months ago with Excalibur Crossbows. No deposit yet but my choice.

None of those. USS Ranger CVA-61 is closest from 72-74. Cruiser and Destroyers.

Welcome to AH. Im sure you'll be just fine in May, not as cold yet but the bush in Limpopo might still be a bit dense. Our rain is a bit late this year so it might rain until a bit later in the season..... But anyway if you have a good PH you'll be successful no matter what time of the year.

Thanks. Hope to speak with her. Studying arrow and bullet placements.

Welcome to AH!
Thanks. Catching up on things i didn't get to do while on active duty and getting the kids through college, etc. Going to have some ME time. Nice Oryx. One is on my list. How did you have him mounted? Did he taste good??? LOL I understand many outfitters cook the game so hunters can really experience the WHY of hunting. Thanks again.

Both of gemsbok are shoulder mounts, each one turn a different direction. They are very pretty with markings on the face. You have to be careful with the horns, the head has to be turned right or they take a lot of room up. They taste fantastic, very good meat.

Thanks, Petrus. Several factors went into my choice of dates. hoping for little rain though. Animals won't need the waterholes and bowhunting will be pretty bad i would guess. That would just mean more gunshots. Thanks again.
