Killed one of the Tiny Eleven this morning

I just hope you’ve got enough antlerless tags to cover those too does.

Glad to see that you did not use mechanical expandable broadheads on those pesky wabbits and chose penetration as your first priority. As for the rifle caliber selection, I think you could have had better results with a 458 Lott. I’m guessing that you will be taking elk with 55mm artillery rounds now or are you thinking HIMARS?

Scott, I had a hard decision to make. And chose a rifle I hadn’t killed anything with. It’s a heavy rifle. And was a pain to maneuver in my swamp. The alders are pretty thick.

Using a stick bow or rifle teaches me to slow down and use my eyes and glasses to find a sitting rabbit. Good stalking and shooting practice cheap. And I have a LOT of rabbits.

When I bought my 375 H&H several years ago, the quick release scope he shipped directly to me and the rifle to an FFL. I put the scope back on after picking up the rifle, wasn't too sure about taking scope off and putting it back on, so I took the 375 H&H out looking for a Nutria, 1 shot one kill at 200 yards. I sent email to the guy that I bought rifle from and said my first kill was a Cape Nutria

I do not even know what the proper scoring method is on a bull rabbit. Skull? Body? Tusks?

I tried to search trophy rabbit and got this,

It's their weight and length of the ears by species according to B&C and SCI. Only exception are Jackalopes, where SCI scores them similar to a whitetail deer with of course handicaps for their size. FYI.

I have a friend in North Dakota who hunts deer with a 375 head shots only he calls them canoe heads.

This reminds me of the article Ross Seyfried wrote on his .577 Rigby. He took it hunting jack rabbits in CO and said their little hides could not contain the hydraulic displacement. What a statement.

Nice stalking training and a iron sighted rifle, good way to spend a morning.

Your attire is genuinely inspirational. I've hunted moose a time or three similarly clad. Well done sir.

I honestly don't know if I have any... I will say that I even bought period-specific eyeglasses to with my clothing choices. I was striving for something from the 1940s-ish.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
