Kudu Pictures

What cartridge in your 99?

.300 Savage... Handloads, 180 grain Accubonds, LEVER powder. The rifle was, according to the serial number on it, manufactured in 1947. It was in rough shape and I've given it some TLC in the time I've had it.

This was a dream for me: a mature bull kudu with my Savage 99. Distance was 220 yards... Game 4 Africa Safaris... PH Don Laaks. Not the biggest but I could not possibly be happier.

I’ve got a pic of me and my kudu in the middle of the spekboom too! Probably not all that far from where you were. I know we drove past Game 4 Africa’s property one day.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
