Kudu Rabies In Namibia

Thank you very much for the positive comments (y)

Thanks for this write up. I’ve read a few articles about rabies in Kudu in Namibia. I am glad to hear of another theory about Kudu die offs being something other than rabies. Being a lifelong Texas rancher I understand rabies and how it’s tramsmitted. I’ve never fully understood the transmission in Kudu and that has kept me skeptical. I’m not a vet and don’t want to start a great debate but I just don’t get it because rabies here is spread by bites that break the skin from an infected animal. I’ve never heard of rabies spread by saliva in a water trough etc.
Regards,
Philip

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
