Welcome aboard Throwback. Texas is a BIG place, what part / city are you from? Please tell us a little more about yourself as a hunter. things like what have you hunted in the past, what kind and caliber rifles do you own, do you reload. Do you have any thoughts or plans of / for hunting Africa? If so, what species and timeframe are you considering?

Thanks for all the greetings everyone. For some more info, yes in the Houston area. I grew up bird hunting primarily but with my teenage son in the recent years have gotten much more into deer hunting. We have a plains game safari planned for June 2023 with Somerby Safaris, the wife is coming too. Can't wait. A Kudu each and whatever else the bush has for us on a 10 Day hunt. Until then some impromptu hunts here and there maybe and deer hunting on the family land (hogs are a target of opportunity at all times). I shoot anytime I can, rifle, pistol shotgun. Love it all. Cheers

Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
