Dixie with her first solo rabbit, I’ve got high hopes for her which is the only high thing she’s got going for her she lost the genetic lottery when it came to legs.

Starting to think she got it from a dachshund the people I bought her from has one running around the house too. Both beagles were 15” and Dixie’s about 9” to the top of her shoulders. She’s oddly long too probably doesn’t show in that picture. She hunts well for a year old dog and will chase rabbits right into brush piles so it is what it is.

I have very fond memories of the last day I was down in Amarillo. You were back at work and Brandi was out looking for Seth’s lost cell phone. I was alone at your house watching TV and literally buried in dogs. It was wonderful!!!

This one isn’t around anymore but one of those lifetime dogs. Picked up 55 species of birds in 17 states before he was done.

Little brother has done his best to fill the shoes.

I love bench legged beagles. The rabbits aren’t running as fast when they come around. I miss mine.

They are so used to it at the point they just do their photo shoots and go on. They have learned that if they cooperate it’s over faster and they lost all sort of puppy dignity years ago.
