Understandably this forum focuses on rifles.

I can say when I was in Mozambique last September I dreamed of having a few free mornings and sitting at a waterhole for Doves, Pigeons & Parrots. I think I could have shot a few hundred rounds everyday for the morning flight!

I've hunted all over the US with these shotguns and taken more upland birds than I can remember.

These are my uplanders. Caesar Guerini Woodlander in 12 Gauge & Tempio in 28 Gauge.
They fit me well right off the rack, point nicely and are light in my hands.

As the saying goes, life is too short to hunt with an ugly gun! For me, these two are the apples of my eye.

my upland gun collection is pretty limited.. just 3 fairly pedestrian O/U's..

Webley & Scott 912 (12 gauge)
Webley & Scott 920 (20 gauge)
Berretta 686 Silver Pigeon (12 gauge)

I went with a custom gun in the form of a classic side by side in 20 gauge which I ordered from the italian firm RFM Armi, I believe they are represented by Upland Gun Company in the US. Really happy with the shotgun so far, very light and well balanced, perfect for Upland Hunting.

Browning 16 gauge and a Franchi 20 gauge. I recently purchased a Franchi in 16 gauge and had a good day for ducks with it, but no pix of upland hunting just yet. My kids are mostly

all hunting now, hence the need for another O/U in the safe and in the outdoors.

Thats Special!

I’ve got quite a few upland guns. This is my favorite, but its position is in jeopardy as I’m working on importing a Westley Richards droplock.

Not real pretty but definitely deadly. I probably shot more pheasants this year than most guys will kill in a lifetime. Plus a dozen Huns and a couple of sharptails. And that's just this year.

The old A5 can't take all the credit though. My current Lab is absolute deadly on uplands. She works close, points, and she's extremely stealthy. Also the "happiest" dog I've ever owned. And I've owned a few.

And her mentor, 14 year-old "Puppy". Little stinker hunts like a dog half her age. And a cancer survivor too.
