"Lighter Politics" Humour

Why does that sound like something the Dumbocrat would try! I’m sure there is some truth to the concept.
In reading through some Reddit forums, there are actually people who are saying forms of this and/or that the election process needs to be changed because it wasn't fair somehow. I nearly created a profile just to Troll them all, but am plenty entertained by their stupidity and bitching about how their lives are ruined.

Yes, I did my part and voted. It is quite amusing that I went to bed without ever watching the MSM to see how race was playing out. Woke up at 5:30AM, got dressed, ate my breakfast, and drove to work without ever knowing who was projected winner. Only when I got to my office and someone mentioned the incredible victory did I know Trump had won. Point is, regardless of the election my day was not being dictated by the outcome of the election. The posts of the reactions from the left are simply a testament of how disconnected with reality the leftist fan base really is. I mean, wish I had pursued my medical degree and specialized in psychology. Such low hanging fruit!

Each county/parish in each state should be a electoral vote. Louisiana has 64 parishes so that would be 64 possible votes. That would keep the big cities from controlling the voting.

Believe me, I would love this as a Conservative. If you look at the county/parish/township map of the US, if every one had an individual vote it would be a landslide Red Victory year after year.

However, even I know it's unfair to have counties with populations in the 100's or 1000's count equal to those with 100,000s or millions.

I've not done the research, but I have wondered how results may change if electoral college voted by percentage of popular vote in each state, instead of all as one. For example, let's take CA: 54 electoral votes with current margin of 57.6% Harris and 39.8% Trump, 2.7% Other. Instead of all 54 going to Harris, it would be 31 Harris, 21 Trump. Maybe I'll waste some time later and see how that would affect 2024 and/or 2020 results.

Here's a county map breakdown i found for 2024 results so far:

Yes, that county map of US is always revealing and similar to many recent elections.

Most importantly, the map strongly demonstrates and reinforces the whole reason for the electoral college in the first place! Study the map Tampon Tim, et al.

Nope! I still don't see that big blue wall.
Yeap! Still looks like a Big Red Tidal Wave.
