Some of you may remember that I had a 1950 Transition Pre-64 Winchester M-70 in 375 H&H restored and restocked for me by LeRoy Berry at Canyon Creek Custom Gun Stocks that I posted about here

And then promptly bought a 300 H&H that I sent to LeRoy and posted here
Well little brother has come home!!! I give you the 300 H&H!!!
I still need to mount the scope and QD Talley rings and bases. I’ll post pics when done…
Here are the two brothers together! Both 1950 transition magnum length Winchesters, one in 300 H&H and the other in 375 H&H, both stocked from the very same Turkish Walnut stock blank, and both serial #’d just 1015 apart!
Very happy and excited with the both of them and can’t wait to get them out to the Save!

I picked up this 1950 Winchester M70 transition rifle in .300 H&H today… I bought it to go along with the 1950 M70 .375 H&H transition I acquired several years back and had customized this year and posted about…
This .300 H&H is not in the same immaculate condition as the .375 was but is still in good overall condition. It has zero pitting and rust, and still has very good rifling that does not have any throat burn or corrosion and has nice bright bore with crisp shiny grooves…
The stock looks as it has been taken good care of but has seen many many years in the field! It has a aftermarket...
