Look what showed up today

Erik, patience and persistence are attributes of hunters. Apparently that applies to other areas of our lives as well. Congratulations. BTW it took me 12 years to get my degree and I thought I was slow!!!:sneaky::sneaky::sneaky:

Carrie, we know a lot about Erik and his daughter but we don't know anything about you. I see that you "joined" AH recently. Please tell us a little more about yourself as it relates to hunting. Things like how long have you been hunting, what motivated you to start hunting, what have you hunted in the past.
Hello!! I grew up hunting on the farm and learned the values of wildlife conservation and feeding the family!!! I have a fascination with guns and after my divorce I needed to find a hobby that I could do with my two sons!!! I put some pictures on here of this past years hunts down at Erik’s place and in Idaho.

Way to go buddy, you beat me, it took me 45 years and the only Degree I ever got was from the University Of Hard Knocks.

Great job gizmo! Now on to your PhD. Dr. Gizmo has a nice ring to it! :A Banana:

Well Erik you are finally qualified to organize and lead a hunt!
Without that paper I'd have never trusted you.

Congrats on your success. 20 years is a testament to your persistence.

Congrats Erik, well done :D Cheers:

Congrats!!!

And is anyone else not surprised that his initials are KEG :D Beers:

and they misspelled the last part on the degree. It's not Jr, it's ER.

Works much better with the initials!

Congratulations buddy but You have had a BS degree as long as I’ve known ya, now it’s official.

Well you're a better man than I. I knew the minute I stepped outside the hideous confines of HS for the last time in 1971, that my schooling days had come to a mutually beneficial and blessed end! Other than a few very short time frame trade type schools, I was done.

Congratulations

I'd say congrats but I'm thinking "Oh brother, not another self absorbed egghead on here". Then again, having hunted with you, the chances of that being an issue are slim. Luvyaman.

Not much of an egghead when it takes 20 years to get a 4 year degree :sneaky:

Now that your educated, are you going to raise the prices on your taxidermy and hunting fees.:)

Congratulations!

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]
