Those early 77's are one of my favorite rifles, though I dont have have one at present. Took one in .338 mag to RSA in '09. The kudu in my avatar pic fell to it. Sort of wish I hadnt sold it but...well you know.

The M77s seem to be able to stand a lot of abuse. A real working rifle. My 77s were both accurate out of the box and are still more accurate than their owner.

You got to love the M77,s, I have 5 at the moment sold several the last couple of years. I took my old M77 in .338 WM to Namibia last year and she went 12 critters for 12 shots including eland. I ain't bragging I'm just saying she and I have really bonded since I bought her in 85.

First off if I encounter anyone complaining about an African Outfitter that can not get back to them I may come visit you personally. If you know what I mean.
