New from Tucson

Welcome! Certainly glad to have you here with the rest of us!

Welcome Paul. Tell us a bit more about yourself.

Welcome Paul. Tell us a bit more about yourself.
My Name is Paul Fisher- I live in Tucson, Arizona.
I am a recent law school graduate, and have been a practicing RN for over 20 years locally.
I used to be a rancher up in Prescott, Arizona from '98-2003.
I have been a long-time hunter (Elk, Deer/Mule and Whitetail, Boar, Turkey, and small game) both with rifles and bows. I stopped bow hunting about 15 years ago due to a back injury. Now I recreationally hunt varmints and such in the Arizona deserts.
I am an avid dog lover and currently have 2 mutt rescues- Cookie is a Rottie Mix and Angel is fox hound/beagle mix-I think...lol

Pictures below are of me teaching my sister and niece how to shoot and a picture of me and my late wife Pat, my 3 babies in my old pool, and Cookie and Angel

Welcome, condolences on the recent law school graduation. Did you not speak with any attorneys before you did that? I’m a burned out litigator, so just ignore my grumpiness.

Welcome to AH

Good day! Welcome!

Welcome aboard!

Greetings Paul from Tucson,

Khomas Highland Hunting and Fishing Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on Earth.

My first name is also Paul.
Just less than a week ago my wife and myself passed through your area, while enjoying a road trip.
We live on the south edge of Anchorage, Alaska.

Each winter we go someplace warm, long enough to thaw our tail feathers.
This time it was a big loop from Las Vegas, NV, through Arizona and back again.
Then we turned in our rented car and flew home.
The AZ weather was not exactly what some folks might define as “warm”.
But, compared to Anchorage at this time of year, it was warm. LoL

And speaking of me wife, just as you have earned a law degree likewise, she earned one a bit over 10 years ago.
She works for a firm that does family law.

Anyway, when you can spare a minute, I invite you to have a look into the Khomas Safaris website.

Best Regards,
Velo Dog.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
