Of the three countries you mentioned Zim is the one that is most practical. However, even with a round trip ticket to South Africa it is much more affordable (and comfortable) to hunt in South Africa for plains game.

Welcome to African Hunting Forums , John Henry . You have come to the right place.

So happy that I found this site!

I found out earlier this week that I will be traveling through Kenya, Uganda, and Zimbabwe in August on business. I am not sure how much down time I will have in total, but I am planning to get a few days of hunting in, as I am unsure when I will be back in the area. I am on a budget, but would like to hunt plains game fair chase, and am currently looking at outfitters in the area. Mainly interested in impala, gemsbok, and other "inexpensive" plains game that are available. I would greatly appreciate any assistance anyone here could provide. Thank you in advance!

God bless,

JohnHenry

That's a wrap, on our first hunt of this years season.

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
