Greetings from West Tennessee! Delighted to find this site. I have hunted Africa 4 times, Namibia, Zambia and Botswana twice. Love the land, the people, the food and special smells of the campfires. As time permits, I will try to share a few stories and a few of the rifles I build for hunting.

Thanks for the welcome. I hunted the
Lunga River block, Chingola area and the Kafue Flats. 23 days all total with my family. Great hunt with Don Grobler. Many fine trophies most record book quality. Some are in the book, but frankly I stopped book submissions and focused more on the beauty of the hunt. Also did one hunt with Don in Bots in the early 90's. Even better than Zambia, although Zambia was much more remote and interesting at the time.

Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
