Good day to all members, as indicated , this is not rifle/gun related in any way..but is needed to protect my eyes so I can still be able to shoot on the long run after my eye surgery. So it is more a safety issue . Members I am in need of a specific safety helmet. I bought a Record air supplied battery charge full face helmet many years ago. I now need the re-chargeable battery part or if possible buying the complete item to have in hand as substitute parts. I am uploading a few photos.

Then I hope a battery is available.
It looks like a clear helmet.
I do a bit of welding and have had some eye issues. I recently said to a specialist (who welds ) that I would buy a quality helmet next time.
Not related to the infection I had but I do think we should put our eyes first. .
A good helmet might cost less than a good scope and we value our hunting.

Unfortunately we (me) come from a time when working with grinders and sanding machines without really making safety a priority . I had to change my attitude in regards to caring for my eye and hearing since a second eye surgery procedures will not happen ...I must have some idea of safety long time ago , I bought this full face wood working air supplied helmet many years ago but did not use it very many times. I dug it up after my first eye was receiving surgery , so the next eye need to be sorted next week...this is why I am trying to get a new old battery system for this helmet, it still is in a great condition. In regards to a welding helmet, I recently bought a great quality MIG welder and bought the best welding helmet available for using with the MIG welder...

Take it to Interstate Battery I bet they can replace the batteries.

discap, please be so kind as to send me contact details of this company, maybe I can contact them, send them the photos and if possible ask a member to bring it to SA if someone come hunting. I tried to contact them via internet but it seems not possible to access their webpage

Oops I didn't realize that you were in SA. Interstate Battery is a nationwide chain here in the states that replaces batteries in virtually everything. If they can take it apart they can replace the battery. Can you tell if the device is glued together or if it is screwed/snapped?

Is the manufacture still in existence or are they gone? If they are still around try to contact them and see if the battery is replaceable.

There are so many of these type of things where they consider them disposable once the battery has no life anymore and are considered non serviceable.

I have a smart phone that needs the battery replaced. I watched a video on YouTube on how to do it and decided that it is just simpler to purchase a new phone.

The Record company , a British company still exist ..I did send some inquiries to them hoping for some positive response. These masks are a new rifle`s price these days.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
