Odd ball penetration question but curious...

Personally, I definitely won't be facing a charge with a solid. A Swift A Frame drills a hole through any hard boss.

At the Houston Safari convention I spoke a dozen PH as well as hunters that have double or triple digits DG under their belts. I always enquired about the gun they use and the ammo/bullets that go with them..
Swift A Frames was ubiquitous but many of them spoke very highly of the NF bullets, and ated them as excellent. I think one of them preferred Federal Sledgehammers.

I shoot the 570gr Swift A Frames out of my 500 N.E. I don't think that you will go wrong with the NF, but will also say this. I can't make a distinction in effectiveness between the Swift A Frames and Rhino Solid Shanks. Actually quite proud for something of that quality to be coming out of South Africa. Going to be ordering some of their 570's and test them in the DR.

As I have said Rhino bullets should be more accessible

That's a wrap, on our first hunt of this years season.

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
