I, for one, will be glad when vitriol and “sky will be falling if the other guy wins” rhetoric is over. At least, until the next election, I hope.…Remember folks, the sun will rise again tomorrow regardless of what happens in the next day or few. Life may be different in a way you don't care for, but there's always the possibility of changing things next election.
I, for one, will be glad when vitriol and “sky will be falling if the other guy wins” rhetoric is over. At least, until the next election, I hope.
That was part of the 10 seconds of prevention. Just put a condom on.
A vigorous 6.5 Creedmoor or 243 Winchester debate would be a welcome distraction on Election Day. ;-)If Trump wins, I think the vitriol will settle down here on AH, albeit I expect a few victory lappers. If Harris wins, not so much. Whatever the case, I'd take a sudden resurgence in arguing about the .30-06 as a proper PG caliber as much more enjoyable over this thread. I'm just wore out by it all.
How is that a debate? 243 all day.A vigorous 6.5 Creedmoor or 243 Winchester debate would be a welcome distraction on Election Day. ;-)
Glad they did it. .... Only thing I can really agree with in that whole statement.Glad that they did it. That being said, one leaves oneself to a lot of liability suits in case of an accident. There are projects we have done where without the "regulations, policies, procedures etc." we could MacGyver it much cheaper and faster. However, that would have given us no legal cover.
In the past we have implemented a multimillion-dollar MES system for the manufacture of an electronic connector that was going to be used in a classified application. The requirement was to have a complete genealogy of every connector. That meant from a serial number one could look at each component of that connector, every step of the manufacturing process for all components, who worked on it, how long, clean room particle counts, temperatures etc., etc.. Was it necessary? Who knows, but it was part of the specifications, and the company spent millions on compliance (it was a big enough of an order for them to build a complete new plant). In this case the government regulation kept a lot of people employed.
25-06 Trumps them both, pun intended.A vigorous 6.5 Creedmoor or 243 Winchester debate would be a welcome distraction on Election Day. ;-)
I'll be the first to agree with you.25-06 Trumps them both, pun intended.
Will this thread go away if Trump wins tonight?
I hope not, lots of good information and perspective comes from this thread.
Officials acknowledge Cambria Co. voting issues, file for voting time extension
UPDATE | The court has approved a voting extension from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Cambria County. In the petition, which was approved around 11 a.m. after hours of vwjactv.com
One would think that voting machines would be faster. I think it is the counting methodology and officials rather than the method of voting that causes the delays. The big problem is the states that can't provide results on election night. It may take Pennsylvania 2-3 days, and look how long Arizona took last time
Trump is right. Switch to all paper ballots, voter i.d, and we would know on election night what the results are. Just like France.
