Hillary spent twice as much campaign money as Trump and lost.

Harris spent 3 times as much and lost.

In the last month before the election, the Harris campaign received 5 times more money from big donors then Trump did.

Democrat arrogance thought their big campaign war chest was going to buy the election.
Those with strong Marxist/Leninist/Maoist beliefs on economics always tend to equate money spent to "mission accomplished." And hilariously, they think we are the materialistic ones.

"Money will take you anywhere you want to go, but it will never replace you as the driver." -- Ayn Rand.

It's why HRC failed, and it's why (among other reasons) Cackles failed. HRC never developed any leadership qualities. The NY senate seat was handed to her. Obama put her as SoS because "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer."

Cackles was handed the SF DA job on a platter. Same when she "ran" for AG, same when she "ran" for Boxer's senate seat.

sorta stupid argument on their part.. since produce was cheaper BEFORE the border crisis...

labor is certainly a significant part of the cost of getting produce to market..

but so is fuel... so is the cost of navigating the regulatory environment, etc.. so is the cost of facilities.. etc..etc.. all of which have seen substantial cost increases over the last 4 years..

migrant crop workers have their own visa program.. if farmers need migrant labor, there is a correct way to make that happen...
Amen to that!… there are labor programs, but with ZERO enforcement it’s simply cheaper to either break the law or hire a slave driver(labor contractor).

If produce prices go up I consider it a trade off for getting rid of the illegals filling out prisons and milking government assistance.

First, I agree with you on the above point. However, main reason Trump was elected was due to the economy, so if prices go up, I'd expect push back from both sides of the aisle.

Good news is that he will have at least 2 years for Congressional action and 4 years for executive action so if by the end of his term things improve, GOP will have a chance at the 2028 elections.

Hopefully he will prioritize so that energy prices go down as much as possible, with savings at the pump, in shipping, in farming costs, and heating costs so the effects are quickly felt. He should not get sidetracked with other cuts or investigations et al until he gets the economy going, EXCEPT that cuts in bloat should also have a positive end result.

Lt. Gen. Kellog tapped for special envoy to Ukraine/Russia problem.
He is a quality person. I knew him a little when he was the J6 and we were both in the building. We retired about the same time with similar assessments of Donald Rumsfeld. He is an absolute realist. I like the idea of a "special envoy" to provide some distance for reflection between Trump, Zelensky, and Putin.

Yea I enjoy his right to the point assessments always makes things easier to understand. Glad he’s being considered.

I agree with you. However, I wonder how many of the throngs that buy their groceries at Sam's and Costco do?
