Politics

Watching the hearings on Bondi it is hard to curb a growing loathing and enmity toward the truly Demonrat senators. I hope they get their comeupance. If we could send some on the left to jail for various malfeasances, it might help right the ship. I am sick of seeing the left never prosecuted for their crimes. No need to single them out politically--they have already committed politically motivated crimes in election manipulation and other violations. Just equally applying the law for the first time in a long time will suffice. I also wonder if it is too late to find the molotov cocktail throwers of Chaz and a dozen other lib bonfires and prosecute them. There was more damage done there than on Jan. 6th.

Man, I hope Patel takes the FBI nod! He will be a man on a totally legal, well-informed mission. They are going to regret what they did to set him on his passionate course. The more heads that roll at the top, the better IMO.

Can anyone tell I really voted for the swamp to be drained....I'm lovin' it already!

thats not a very high bar to get over lol...

That’s wild. It’s the first time I’ve seen this picture.

The mask reminds me of something.

Interesting that they were hitting him more with personal issues rather than his actual background and experience related to running basically the World's largest corporation.
Background and experience never come into play when democrats put forth a nominee for anything. Democrats focus on nothing but personal issues that have nothing to do with the job at hand so at least they are consistent in that regard.

Take a look at this picture and convince me that we don’t have a risk averse military.

The current Secretary of Defense presents a very low bar to top. Although insulated from criticism by Race, he is a complete failure for America, yet a huge success personally and financially. He was prevented by law from serving as Sec Def because of being retired from the revolving door military for less than 4 years. The dem moralists and woke Globalists got a waiver for this law. Hence, The Lloyd. As a partner with Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Pine Island Capitol, they have made generational wealth (at least $213 million) from the War in Ukraine. And Gaza. Regardless of how you feel about these wars, do you think powerful politicians should be able to make decisions with such potential conflicts? No reasonable human would. So, to say the nominee would do better than Lloyd doesn't say much. Having said that, I am solidly behind Pres Trump's nominations......it's time for a change. I believe any politician advocating for war should be prevented from profiteering. They should also be willing to fight, or send their kids or grandkids to fight. Go Pete!.......FWB

And that is even more of a reason to not follow their example. Whataboutism should not be the reason GOP also picks unqualified candidates.

I don't always agree with you FWB, but this post is spot on in my opinion.

Not having the experience of running a large organization is not a reason to disqualify Hegseth for the job. Did you hear his thoughts on leadership? Leadership is the key contributing qualifier for this job. He said surround yourself with people smarter than you and then let those horses run.
That senator from Michigan talking about how they were the board hiring a new CEO and that he would not hire Hegseth was a joke and quite laughable. What has he done besides becoming a senator? How many people has he led, how many companies has he run? You could run down the list of sensors and most of them could not even carry his jock.
I have been a leader my entire career and I will take a leader every day over “supposed” experience.
There's no supposed experience.
Experience is something that can be proven with facts from someone's past.
The reason to disqualify Hegseth is many and only one of them is experience, moral compass is the other.
We're not talking about elected officials here which is a totally separate issue.
Yesterday he couldn't even name three major defense pacts we are part off..
Both Matt Gaetz and Hegseth was a mistake...

And in other news Pam Bondi throws the grenade right back into Senator Whitehouse's lap.

And suddenly it appears we're on the cusp of Hamas/Israel cease fire and a return of the hostages, let's hope it happens.

Similar to when Reagan was about to take office after Carter..

During his campaign Reagan was clear, American hostages would not be held any longer in Iran without severe consequences…

Magically, right before he raised his right hand and swore his oath, Iran released its hostages…

Trump has been clear.. the moment he becomes President there will be hell to pay if Hamas is still holding hostages…

And magically Hamas is now, after more than a year, ready to release hostages…

Funny how things like that work…

Weak presidents, whether lauded on the world stage by foreign counties or not, get taken advantage of…

Strong presidents whether hated or beloved by foreign countries don’t get trifled with…

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
