Politics

Hand delivered my mail in ballot, just as I always do.
I was disappointed that they didn't have any "I voted twice" stickers.

If Skamala happens to pull off a win, are there trophy fees on idiot voters, or is it an open limit?

Glad this bovine fecal matter will be over soon.
We will either remain a republic or evil will have prevailed.
Compromise is not a good thing when dealing with evil and democrats are nothing but evil.
Compromise is a great thing if you want to live as a united nation.
Calling more than half of your citizens evil is a terrible thing.
A lot of what you call evil served this country very well to enable you to call them evil.

Wearing my hat.

Netanyahu fired Yoav Gallant, hard to tell if this was over actual battlefield conduct or Likud party pressure, probably a bit of both.

Not unless the Ukraine war ends as well....

BTW, how in tarnation did we decide to have elections at the beginning of deer season?! Leaving for camp in the morning...
Was talking about this with some guys earlier. I think Election Day should be a Federal Holiday anyway, most employers are good about giving people time to vote, but this would give people all day. If you're non-political and don't care to vote its a paid day off, if you're a hunter you get a free day to be in the woods every two years and could likely still make the polls unless you're out of town.

This is a pretty crude understanding of abortion in America.

Roughly 5% of Americans hunt. An incredibly small portion of them ever hunt in Africa.

1% of pregnancies experience placental abruption.
1-2% of pregnancies end in a late term miscarriage (often requiring abortion).
A multitude of other devastating events require abortion.

Listening to the average conservative debate abortion is like listening to Diane Feinstein tell me what makes a gun an assault weapon. Where is the part that goes down again?

Are prohibitions against bringing home trophies from Africa any more justified on account of the relative rarity of the need to import them? Are bans on specific guns justified because they make me feel icky when I see how shooty they look?

If you end up mourning the outcome of this election because DT doesn’t win, there will be countless factors that contributed to the loss, but a large and obvious factor will have been the overturning of R v. W.
and if DJT wins you have to go away,[] shut up,[] cry.[] and now would you be in favor of limiting abortion to these devastating events you named. Or just let the states decide

Good Morning x84958
I have read your post about Jamy Traut and your hunt in Caprivi. I am planning such a hunt for 2026, Oct with Jamy.
Just a question , because I will combine Caprivi and Panorama for PG, is the daily rate the same the week long, I mean the one for Caprivi or when in Panorama it will be a PG rate ?
thank you and congrats for your story.
Best regards
Philippe from France

Hello Doug,
I am Philippe from France and plan to go hunting Caprivi in 2026, Oct.
I have read on AH you had some time in Vic Falls after hunting. May I ask you with whom you have planned / organized the Chobe NP tour and the different visits. (with my GF we will have 4 days and 3 nights there)
Thank in advance, I will appreciate your response.
Merci
Philippe
