I personally believe the issue in America is beyond man vs woman in the military, we have a couple of generations of young folks who are so messed up they dont even meet the basic quals to enlist, I.E. almost 31 % are too overweight , then the drug problem, I have a grandson who tried to enlist in the army guard they wouldn't talk to him because he was still on RITALIN a drug that is passed out like candy to school age 'kids' by the psych counselers , in a nut shell Americas youth are fat, lazy, psyched out, addicted to electronics, have no ambition , and never had a job and cant pass the asvab test. Oh I know your kids arent like that , but in General shall we say. which is the way the military deals with people , one size fits all, conform, non conformist get weeded out, MENS haircuts , uniforms, all the same.
my understanding is all boys and GIRLS still have to register with the selective service.
Updated I assume, but now it's 81% unfit for military service and 84% registered for the draft.

I don’t know. There was a full 8 point difference between Trump and Lake in the AZ election this year. I assume 8% of the commufornians didn’t vote for Trump. This is Deja vu all over again from the last election for her. It was Trump supporters who caused her to lose then and again now.
Commiefornia is still bright blue in case you haven’t noticed. Those who move out of there have infected and continue to infect surrounding states like- Oregon, Washington and Colorado- all three bright blue. Arizona is purple at best as is Nevada. Montana isn’t immune. They can flip either direction and sadly may continue edging blue.

Gallego started lying about his platform during the campaign. Lake stayed consistent in her platform and received no assistance from the bassturd RINO turtle who should have retired years ago. You can re-write history all you like. Lake was given no cover from DC party power brokers like the turtle, because she was a reliable Trump supporter, was pro life and dared question election integrity as overseen by the corrupt machine and Hobbs. All theoretically de bunked through the farce of plausible deniability of incompetent workers willing to plead ignorance while falling on the sword. Go ahead and continue living in the fantasy world of clean elections… sooner or later to the detriment of us all, Calling abortion women’s health care is a construct I gladly leave to those so deluded and let that be judged in time on its own merits,

I think I fully understood the point you were attempting to make. However, this is a actually a simple math equation. 8% of the citizens of Arizona who voted for Trump did not vote for Lake. Your issue is with those Trump supporters - no one else.

Meanwhile, back at the front, this is a good example of appropriate munitions against an appropriate target. Based on losses and constant resulting reorganization, this is likely a Russian company located by an observation drone equipped with thermal capability. The target area is then hit with three MLRS rockets with either unitary or tungsten warheads obviously causing significant casualties. As vehicles arrive to pick up wounded, a final missile arrives carrying DPICM submunitions which was centered on the target.

It is perhaps worth noting, a target like this would have been serviced by a US artillery unit with at least six missiles. Way back during the Gulf War MLRS earned the sobriquet "steel rain" from the Iraqis.

Oh I understand. If Trump wins, those who have TDS and are viscerally never-Trump and who are constantly critical of Trump supporters have no way to celebrate a Trump win or lecture those who supported Trump. So in an attempt to remain relevant, they find a Republican loss somewhere and celebrate that. They are especially gleeful if that candidate was a conservative pro-Trumper. I can’t think of a better definition of RINO. They have much in common with the likes of a Cheney or Romney or McConnell. Arizona voters have selected a Dem governor and two Dem senators. At best it is purple, drifting left and has been for a while. Major influx of blue has been going on for years.

There is clearly another illness abroad in the republican party. Let's call it RDS (Rino derangement syndrome) or perhaps No one but Trump Syndrome. It is exclusionary to the point of making simple election discussions impossible among republicans. I'll offer the only explanation for Lake's loss one more time, again observing that 8% of the electorate who voted for Trump did not vote for Lake. The only thing I think we can extrapolate from that is she was a bad candidate - now proven twice by Trump supporters who would not support her. That observation has nothing to do with Trump - other than some possible thoughts about the strength of his coattails - and everything to do with the unelectability of Lake even in a state where Trump did very well. It also might be instructive to understand how her candidacy materialized - again. Unlike Georgia in 20, republicans did well elsewhere, negating the potential impact of the Arizona race.

Alternative facts? Didn’t vote for Lake due to TDS, but voted for Trump by 8 points.

Arizona voters have selected a Dem governor and two Dem senators.
You have Lake to thank for in regard to Democratic governor and one Democratic senator.

About a year and a half too late, but the introduction of North Korean troops (because Russia is running out of manpower without general mobilization which Putin does not dare proclaim), the introduction of North Korean long range artillery, and the typically fairly indiscriminate bombardment of Ukrainian cities last night finally induced the administration to authorize the use of long range US weapons such as ATACMS within Russia. Great Britain and France immediately followed suit with their Storm Shadow and SCALP missiles. This essentially puts all of Russia's tactical aviation, and theater support bases at immediate risk.

Will be interesting to see if the Russians perceive the trade was worthwhile over the next few weeks.

With Kennedy poised to be in the Trump administration. Does anyone think Trump will release the remaining files on JFK ?

Trump promised to release them during his last term. Then the agencies briefed him that it would cause irrevocable damage to the US. ( or their agency) So he did not release them.

So will he now disregard the word of those same agencies this go around and release the files?

The trust in the intelligence agencies is in the toilet right now. The only way to clean the mess up, it to show just how dirty they are, and start from scratch.

Never fear though, the never-Trump backstabbers will try to put a stop to it. I expect them to be along in 3...2...1...

What is the historic margin for citizens to not vote straight party? Specifically, in the last 20 years?

Have no idea in Arizona. Sounds like a good research project. Let us know.

Subtract all the multiple repost of threads in "on a lighter note", the "Politics" threads would most likely have more threads, and it started ~5 years and 4 months after on a lighter note.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
