now that's funny!!!I'd eat a couple rolls of gas station sushi before I'd believe anything that is uttered from anybody in this administration or the mainstream media.

Interesting read, a lot of points he is trying to make regarding government, media, foreign policy etc. could have been written by Noam Chomsky. Almost a full circle.A very timely read if you have :20
Populist Conservatism and Constitutional Order
American conservatism exists to serve the people and the nation through the Constitution. This includes defending them against enemies foreign and domestic. And the fact is, elite institutions have become the people’s and the nation’s enemies. They are openly waging cultural war on those they...imprimis.hillsdale.edu
My mam-maw used to say “That feller would climb a tree to tell you a lie, when he could stay on the ground and tell you the truth”.Problem is, this admin, and particularly this admin's AG, is corrupt AF. If they had a case against Gaetz, even if it were the flimsiest of cases, they'd have brought it to him. That they haven't charged him means all the yacking about it is just so much more hot air.
This admin and its water carriers in the press have attempted to gaslight us for 4 years that Biden was the picture of mental health. Until, that is, it was so obvious he wasn't that even the village idiots couldn't help but notice.
"Honest, we're telling the truth about Gaetz. We pinky-swear."
If that crew told me the sun was shining outside, I'd go out and have a look for myself. They seem to lie even when it doesn't serve any real purpose to.

My nearly 87 yo dad says the same thing. My mam-maw used to say “That feller would climb a tree to tell you a lie, when he could stay on the ground and tell you the truth”.

I sure as heck hope so!I had a feeling this was the case with respect to Ukraine striking Russia with ATACMs - particularly after Trump Jr. went radio silent after immediately posting a negative response to the announcement. What is a Trump loyalist supposed to do? You know, that whole WWIII thing. If true, I assume the ever snarkier Laura Ingraham and Tucker Carlson must be terribly confused.

My post yesterday -
With respect to the decision to allow Ukraine to target positions within Russia with US munitions, Don Jr. did make an immediate and critical statement about the Biden decision with respect to US long range weapons and World War III. The only other comments were from republicans well outside the Trump's immediate orbit like MTG. Those, however were immediately followed by a statement to the press by Steven Cheung. ""As President Trump has said on the campaign trail, he is the only person who can bring both sides together in order to negotiate peace, and work towards ending the war and stopping the killing," This was hardly a denunciation of the decision or supportive of his son's initial position.
I still have to believe it was discussed with him, even mutual agreement reached, at the meeting with Biden.
I agree. It certainly gives Trump and Ukraine a stronger position to start negotiations from. Just like the 100% tariffs comments with China and others.
