Politics

This example is the same trick they used in 2020. The difference this time is the election was called for Trump immediately. So all eyes were then trained on the few counties still counting votes. They were in the bright sunlight this time. The remedy for this is when the election is certified in Congress they are sent back and not counted unless the “error” is corrected. And this is exactly what VP Pence was asked to do in 2020. He absolutely did have the constitutional authority to not certify any votes that were illegal. That is the whole intent of that process. Let’s reverse engineer this. if Congress and Pence did not have the authority to not certify the results of each state. What were they doing there that day?
Many have stated Pence had no authority to do any such thing. The specific purpose of Election Certification is exactly as the name implies.

In what I consider one of the greatest acts of political cowardice in American history, the Supreme Court, Mike Pence and the rest of Congress knew there were cases of outright cheating, and did NOTHING.

The stench of cheating in the 2020 election was far and wide. Many Judges refusing to take the deep dive and put it under the microscope. They seemed to be afraid to shine a light on the cockroaches.
Look at what has been happening to Rudy Giuliani. They are purposely destroying his life.

It looks as if Russia responded to the ATACMS and Storm Shadow strikes of the last two nights by launching an actual ICBM with a multiple reentry vehicles at the city of Dnipro. Damage was relatively light considering the small size of the conventional warheads on the missile. I would bet real money that the Kremlin notified the US/NATO of the launch. An ICBM headed west would potentially trigger a retaliatory response before it even struck its intended target.

I assume the intent of the Kremlin's message was that they could just have easily launched a nuclear armed payload. Though it is perhaps worth pointing out that the theater ballistic missiles they have been using over the last 2 1/2 years are also nuclear capable. It was a fairly expensive act of pique.

Most judges did not want to touch those charges for fear of making a mistake and impacting or delaying the election results. So punted the ball.

If we follow the Constitution. Which many here have sworn to do.
Constitutionally, right or wrong. the founders left most of the election result authority in Congress. Not the states or citizens.

For starters, there were no political parties in 1787. The drafters of the Constitution assumed that electors would vote according to their individual discretion, not the dictates of a state or national party. Today, most electors are bound to vote for their party’s candidate.

And even more important, the Constitution says nothing about how the states should allot their electoral votes. The assumption was that each elector’s vote would be counted. But over time, all but two states (Maine and Nebraska) passed laws to give all of their electoral votes to the candidate who wins the state’s popular vote count. Any semblance of elector independence has been fully wiped out.

The Founders also assumed that most elections would ultimately be decided by neither the people nor the electors, but by the House of Representatives. According to the Constitution, if no single candidate wins a majority of the electoral votes, the decision goes to the House, where each state gets one vote.

After the unanimous election of George Washington as the nation’s first president, the Founders figured that consequent elections would feature tons of candidates who would divide up the electoral pie into tiny chunks, giving Congress a chance to pick the winner. But as soon as national political parties formed, the number of presidential candidates shrank. Only two U.S. elections have been decided by the House and the last one was in 1824.

The states each now do what the founders intended Congress to do.

It’s an empty gesture by a playground bully running out of road

He will not deploy a theatre nuke as he will lose trade support from India and China - without whom he is in trouble

Both India and China would, themselves, go tits up economical if they injure the west sufficiently enough to damage their trade arrangements

Putin’s best, perhaps only, bet is to hold on for a naively constructed life ring from Trump

This is not a Federal law violation but disobeying a State Supreme Court order. So, nothing to do with DOJ (States' rights, remember?) or Garland. Because they disobeyed a court order the best that the court can do is hold them in contempt. Any further remedies would be up to the PA DA and Governor and of course, they are not doing anything other than paying lip service.
To me it is their arrogant assumption that they can do whatever and face no consequences......just throw one of them out of the plane and everyone else will sit up straight. Me and everyone else wants justice from the states or federal government when whatever applicable laws are blatantly ignored. "Well...we're not going to do this"....Ok....fine...face the consequences....lose federal dollars and, oh, also, better get yourself a lawyer.....fast. Old goats like myself are fed up with this stupidity....time to start "breaking some legs"

Governor Greg Abbott and every other Red state Governor should immediately bus all Tren de Aragua‘ member directly to the front lawn of the liberal resistance members. The mayor of LA, the Governor of AZ.

Drop them right in these lunatics neighborhoods. Let these punks crush their daughter’s head with a rock. I’m sorry for the reaction. But for them to publicly state they will impede with deportation. They need to get a dose of reality that they seem ok with other families living with.

Yes we have our own native criminals. ( the back up argument made by the left). But why have the tax payer fund the importation of more.

ICE needs to focus on all gang members here in the US and they need to be flown to LA, Arizona or New England. Or as Trump wants. Back where they came from

Here is another front lawn to drop Gang members on. Give them all her personal address and phone number.

I can't believe these governors ignore the laws and protect these criminals who are terrorizing their citizens. Just sickening.

Is Gaetz cutting a deal for Rubio's seat?

I'm all for Trump getting an AG appointment that can shake the Flea's out of the DOJ, FBI, and other agencies, as well as indictments for many that deserve it.
Trump needs to stand firm against the Swamp RINO pushback, who will posture and maneuver to try and get who they want.

Thank God. One self inflicted crisis averted.

Maybe Trump will call Gowdy
I am guessing Trump's defense attorney that was nominated for assistant AG will move up. Could have been the plan all along.

I tend to think this was a transparent attempt at an elaborate ruse to get rid of him. It was that nonsensical of a pick. IMHO. Just about any other qualified person would be better

Gaetz withdrawing himself from AG nomination

My guess is there was some negotiation between Thune and the transition team on a name or two that Thune would push through prior to Gaetz stepping out. I wouldn't be surprised to see Gaetz involved with DOGE with specific focus on DOJ/FBI.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
