Here he has transcribed in English a posting on the Telegram channel of comments made by Alexandr Dugin who has been described as Putin's Rasputin. He is the leading figure in the current messianic belief in an inevitable Russian Eurasian dominance from the Atlantic to the Pacific.

The comments. like some of the videos we have seen, offer a broader understanding of the peculiar madness that is modern Russian political culture - a sick society that Tucker, Macgregor, and ilk admire and believe we should somehow trust and treat as an ally.

The people who know no history have laughed at the comparisons between the Czech crisis of 1938 and the war in Ukraine. I think the parallels are profound and both crises were telegraphed exactly through the messianic vision of their perpetrators. The West failed miserably in 1938 with an eventual cost of 80 million deaths and incalculable suffering. From Putin's perspective he is a double edged sword. His mad vision of Europe and Asia under Russian domination largely reflect Putin's aspirations for resurrecting Russian power. His criticisms that Putin isn't going fast or far enough can also be used to portray Putin as somewhat reasonable in his goals.

My daughter got a full ride from UC Berkeley though she chose to go to Yale. Then, went to Harvard Law school. Son went to Rice University.

Both applied as White. My SIL who also went to Yale and Harvard Law also applied as White.

I think the racial preferences were made for marginal students., maybe bottom X percent of those got accepted.

It's nice to see facial hair back in the White House. If Vance can be the man in 2028 I believe he'd be the first President since Harrison in the 1890s to sport a full beard. My two cents? It's been way too damn long.

I think his likability took a big hit when he started wagging his finger in the faces of young black people for not picking the Democrats cotto....... I mean voting as they should.

JD Vance is a highly educated and extremely well polished hillbilly brought to the public via the US Marine Corps. In Iraq as a Corporal, Vance served in a Captain’s billet in public affairs. I have no doubt that duty honed JD into the sharp verbal weapon he is.

Add to the above JD Vance went to Ohio State on the GI Bill. Later he earned a Law Degree from Yale before becoming a venture capitalist. He served as a US Senator for Ohio prior to becoming Vice President.

Add to JD's American dream story a strong layer of anti-woke armor. That armor is his Indian American wife, Usha. Mrs. Vance is a pretty woman but she is also a “person of color”. Plus, she may also be smarter than JD and The Donald combined.
