Very low moral in the Federal Government, talked to my daughter last night that works at the CDC. She said everyone is scared to death about being fired. They spent yesterday and will spend most of today cleansing web sites of gender language, no more pregnant person and things like that while there is 3 new Ebola outbreaks. For the moment they have shut down all communication and work outside of the office. At least for her team and her teams focus are the countries of Ghana, Niger and Mozambique.

They have to write a justification letter that defends why their jobs should not be cut. I totally understand what the feds are doing but I hate it for my daughter, her dream has been to work for the CDC and Ebola since she was in the ninth grade. She has worked there for 14 months and her fellowship term of two years is over in October. Before then she can be fired without cause. I told her to show up early, stay late and do absolutely anything someone asks her to do. But a problem is the people that will write the recommendation letter is not on their team and they may never even meet the person..

That’s a long winded way of asking if any other federal employees see the same sort of things, low moral and the fear of being fired.
My daughter also works for the government, the DOD as an auditor. It is a trying time for many government employees but a much needed change. She works from home 3 days a week and this will probably not continue. In my opinion for too long the government has not been accountable.

We should first get back to basics, as we all know Liberalism is a mental disorder. When people vote for liberals they should expect to be sh*t upon. When we let the ignorance of liberalism invade an area with no consequences we do a disservice to all involved. Bad decisions come with a price, this is how people learn. The first step to overcoming this affliction is to realize that you have a problem and need help. I stand with open arms waiting to embrace those who want to turn from the dark side. I hope this helps.
No it doesn't.
Unlike you I'm not qualified to diagnose what's considered a mental disorder.
But I know that Federal government is not here to teach our citizens a lesson regardless which side they're on.
It's called tyranny.

Ivermectin is FDA approved to use in humans to treat a variety of parasitic infections including parasitic worms, hookworm etc... nothing else.
Nobody will use their license to prescribe it for the appropriate use.
OK ,point taken, but when a man made 'PANDEMIC" "virus" is spreading a contagion world wide , and the "shot " is not working , can we not think outside the box, " if no harm is done"

It would appear that you are in denial. It’s understandable that you would take exception to a contrary point of view. It is not the government teaching a lesson, it is the results of ignorance which is clearly embraced by liberalism. So yes, liberalism is a mental disorder but there is hope. Take baby steps to leave this downward spiral, eat more red meat, shoot more guns, recite the pledge of allegiance, catch a fish, take a shot of bourbon, change your own oil, go to church. Contact me if I may be of any assistance.

Legal orders have to be followed.

However, there are exceptions to refusing to follow/obey certain legal orders. Which the soldier will be free of punitive action under the UCMJ.

One is regarding parachuting. But this would be a different thread.

Medical is another. Paraphrasing as I no longer have my JAG advisor or copy of UCMJ.

Unit Commanders that fail, refuse, or deny to provide subordinates with preventable medical treatment is responsible for any injuries or illnesses suffered by those soldiers within their command.

Any soldier that refuses or otherwise unable to receive recommended preventable vaccine(s) and medication(s) may be: reassigned to another command, may still be deployed with their unit, however should such soldier contract a preventable disease by refusing such preventable medication(s) the soldier assumes all responsibility and could have any future claim denied.

Himm... Meanwhile California has been funding federal budget along with couple others like Texas, New York et.. for years and that money is being used to fund poorer states to make up for their shortfalls.
California is part of this country not a foreign place.
I carry my passport when I go to Californicate to visit my brothers just in case. LOL

It's not news it's a fact.
Also budget deficit has nothing to do with funding Federal budget.
I didn’t mean to lump them together.

I realize that California pays a huge amount into the federal budget but they do this by sheer numbers in population and corporations, unless I’m missing something everyone pays the same rates in income taxes in each bracket I would think I pay the same amount as someone that makes the same salary as I do in every other state to the federal government.

Just on a much smaller scale my home county in Alabama (Baldwin) contributes the highest amount to our state’s coffers at least it did in the past but haven’t looked lately, not unlike California to the federal coffers.

I think many pharmacies were refusing to fill prescriptions of ivermectin.

CRJ pilot examiner here. And I’ve done the 1 to 33 transition many dozens of times. The CRJ on final had no reason or expectation to check 3 o’clock at 400 feet on short final. The pilot motoring is focusing forward at this point and making approach and landing callouts. That is simply their airspace at that point - especially at a place like DCA.TCAS resolution advisory is inhibited under 1000 AGL. They may receive a traffic alert, but won’t get a resolution “climb” or descend” advisory at that altitude. Had the H60 been at the proper altitude, this simply wouldn’t have happened. The collision happened at 350 feet - the helo was supposed to be at 200. The CRJ appears to be right on proper altitude on the descent to 33.If the tower was aware of the H60 altitude, they are going to share responsibility. The tower is also supposed to have a dedicated helicopter traffic controller on duty - there wasn’t. Also… allowing a training mission across the final of a major airport - at night - is just plain stupid. Both the Army and FAA need to answer for this as well. And your AA friend is simply wrong… the transition from 1 to 33 is a simple maneuver and nothing like approaching a carrier. That’s silly.

My question is are planes regularly allowed to travel over top of helicopters with such small separation? Everyone is saying that the helo should have been at 200 ft, but if the glide path of jets is going to bring them with 100-150ft of each other, that's a near miss all day long. Why are they even allowed to take that route day or night?

Excellent analysis.
At the end of the day chopper pilot will be find at fault along with the ATC.
It never compensates for the loss of lives but federal government will be sued and will pay a huge amount of money.

The jet wash from those planes could also provide a wild ride for a helicopter

Nobody will lose their license to prescribe it for the appropriate use.

So, are you saying that there has never been a drug that has been found to have multiple uses and applications for a variety of disease? If the majority scientists and doctors historically ascribed to that mindset, we would still be doing blood lettings... The greatest advances in science and medicine have come from out of the box, innovative thinking... Thousands of drugs have been found to have multiple uses across a huge spectrum of disease and ailments...

Drugs like Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine showed to have significant promise several studies conducted in Europe and India that were not only dismissed but aggressively disparaged by Fauci and his task force as anecdotal... Why do you think that occurred?

You are incorrect about all doctors not prescribing these drugs during covid out of fear of professional retribution... The vast majority maybe, but there were some brave, informed doctors who were willing to prescribe these drugs to patients based on the promise of the "anecdotal" studies along with their own patient trials that Fauci dismissed without adequate explanation...

By the Fall of 2022, it was actually pretty easy to get ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine as part of a 3-drug panel to treat covid through an online prescription... The 3 primary doctors responsible for pioneering these drugs for use against covid in the USA and creating an online outlet for patients to receive these drugs won their lawsuit against the FDA... The Fifth Circuit court found the doctors were withing their legal rights to prescribe these drugs for their patients citing the "FDA is not a physician"...

I'm speechless (typeless?) at reading this.

Is this sarcasm? Not to be rude but the usage of this drug has literally multiple millions of cases of use as an antiviral with almost universal success.

The developers received a nobel prize for it around 2015(?). It was a remarkably successful treatment long before COVID.

The FDA is a laughing stock. They're now fully documented of intentionally misleading the public and trying to brand the drug as "horse dewormer," being caught, retracting it, and then finally admitting it publicly after immense pressure.
I'm more interested in what a witch doctor from Brazil gives guidance for than them at this point.

The lawsuits surrounding medical doctors being vilified and forced from their practices, "de-platformed," and threatened with loss of license is astonishing and easily available if you look with even casual curiosity.

Well there you go all helicopter flights are banned around Regan airport. He wasn't on his flight plan. You know if the airport is 30% short of controllers why the hell are they training. This is all completely crazy.
I think the word "training" was the wrong word. Should have been phrased as "currency". They were maintaining currency which allows them to execute their assigned mission in accordance with applicable regulations and the commander's training guidance.

Six times on this page alone Datchew, BSO Dave, and others could save themselves high blood pressure by simply applying the "ignore" button....

I hear you Steve, but I personally choose not to ignore anyone provided what they post lies within the forum rules.... Apparently, naivete, ignorance, and narratives driven by personal agenda and/or emotion are not against the rules for posting...

I will gladly listen to and debate anyone's arguments provided they are based in fact or out of personal experience... When someone makes an assertion based on emotion or pure B.S., I am compelled to call them on it, but social media is entertainment for me... My blood pressure would tick up only if I didn't reply... ;)
