I would wish for nothing else. Let’s start with the EU institutions in Brussels, then work their way to national and regional governments.
You can't have our favorite African American! We need him to work through our own State Governments, city and county also....

Bill Gates appears to be trying to get ahead of the Epstein story now that the client list is pending release..

Admitting he went to Epstein island… but only to talk philanthropy… he did nothing wrong there…

And, oh, by the way, Epstein was attempting to blackmail him over an affair Gates had that Epstein knew about.. so they didn’t actually get along or anything..

Will be interesting to watch the liberal news outlets spin this one…

Yes the Presidency has become way to powerful. Remember Obama didn't need Congress because he had a phone and a pen. How about Bush 43 and his Cabinet?

Interestingly, Lincoln acknowledged to his cabinet that he may have overreached his executive power specifically in regard to using what he believed to be his war powers as POTUS in declaring the slaves as property. By that definition he could seize slaves as federal property and then ultimately free them in the Confederate states under those war powers.

He justified his executive actions by saying that if the American people felt he misused his executive power, they could exercise their will by not re-electing him... Subsequently, by his re-election, he continued to act as he saw fit by the mandate the voters had given him...

I'm not comparing Trump to Lincoln, but Trump is obviously taking a page from Lincoln's play book according to the same mandate he was given by the voters from an undivided union. The fact that Trump can only serve one term actually allows him to use his mandate more powerfully...

Well, he restored Ft. Bragg's rightful name. Gotta love the way President Trump's appointees are taking charge and shaking things up.
Sort of. The administration finessed this by changing the name to another Bragg. It was originally named for Confederate General Braxton Bragg, a North Carolina native. His name was banished during the post Floyd pandering to BLM, and it was changed to Fort Liberty. It has now be renamed again, but now for Army Pfc. Roland L. Bragg, a World War II paratrooper and Silver Star recipient from Maine. Pretty clever way of working it to avoid the whole "racist" thing in congress and in the media. But, not quite as bold a move as the initial headlines would lead us to believe.

I should also note that Bragg is generally considered one of the worst generals on either side during the war and was largely loathed by peers and subordinates alike.

Fort Hood would be much trickier. It was named after Confederate General John Bell Hood who initially formed and commanded the famed Texas Brigade during the War Between the States after serving in the cavalry in Texas fighting the Comanche in the 1850's. But, he was a native of Kentucky.

It is now named for General Richard E. Cavazos who was a native Texan from Kingsville and from the Army's perspective at least, incidentally of Hispanic heritage. He had a storied military career which included winning the Distinguished Service Cross (second only to the Medal of Honor) in Korea as a lieutenant. He won a second Distinguished Service Cross in Vietnam commanding a battalion on the Cambodian border in a story of heroism very similar to "We Were Soldiers."

He eventually retired as a Four Star in 1984 after serving as CG US Army Forces Command. However, he continued to actively advise army leadership development by serving on Army Warfighter exercises as a mentor. It was in that role, that as a battalion and brigade commander I came to know and respect him personally participating in Warfighter exercises at Fort Hood. He was one of my most cherished mentors.

Texas could not have a better representative for whom to name a post on Texas soil. It is why much of the anger over the name changes was muted here compared to the rest of the South.

He just his MOH a few weeks ago.

I watched that documentary also. It was by far the most plausible of all the theories.

Apparently, the Secret Service partied till just before dawn in Dallas the night before. That part is fact. Witnesses in the bar and hotel confirmed it.

The next morning a few could not perform their duties so one of the hung over officers handed their rifle to a secret service motor pool guy. He was riding inside the car just behind Kennedy.

According to the theory, The guy that shot JFK in the back of the head was a motor pool guy. This is 1 year before the M16 was issued to the military. And 6 years before the army made it the standard weapon. It’s a prototype and was given to the SS shortly before Dallas.

The first shots go off the Secret Service motor pool guy stands up just a few yards behind the car Kennedy was in. He was very close. I think they even showed a picture of trying to get Oswald‘s bullet design to fit in the hole in the back of Kennedys skull. It was too large in diameter.

It is very plausible. But is that what happened ? Who knows. Russia, the Mob, Cuba or all of that and an accidental discharge.

The second photo is of the motorcade speeding away after all the shots View attachment 664839View attachment 664841

Yes sir, thank you for adding the extra details

Also to add to the conspiracy whirl wind........

The strip club the agents were drinking at the night before the shooting was owned by the Dallas mob; the holder of the liquor license and general manager was none other than..... Jack Ruby

I don’t like them either but I think it is strange for anyone over about 10 years old to use a straw.
Would that include the entire population of Japan, where one is regarded as a barbarian for not using a straw?

This is not a new technique. Often, different branches of government protect historical names from the silly demands of other branches of government. In Smolensk, the city authorities renamed the central Lenin Street to... Lenin Street. In honor of the local hero of the defense of the city from the army of the Polish King Sigismund. And in Ukraine, in Kharkov, the Dzerzhinsky district was renamed the Dzerzhinsky district (brother of the first, local hospital director)

Excellent! I had missed that. Unfortunately, during 40's and 50's, numerous acts of heroism by men of the wrong heritage or color were downgraded from initial recommendations to the next lowest award. Cavazos's actions in Korea were among those on the review list of the Army. I had not heard that the DSC had been upgraded. This is a very well done summary of his combat actions. As I noted, Texas could not have a better native son's name on a post.

I should add, he would have been embarrassed by both the upgrade and renaming the post.

I was in DC a few weeks ago when they did it and I saw it in a WH schedule. I knew the name, but didn't know his history. Would also add, he looked exactly like one would expect when you hear his story.

If Zelensky can cut it as a dollar for dollar (military equipment) deal, it would be a bargain for both countries.

Trump and Musk’s strategy to publicly air all of the dirty laundry they are digging up is brilliant. The Dems and the mainstream media have lost their control of information flow to the general populace.

Agree completely. Transparency is the key. What American doesn't question why Social Security is making payments to 6.5 million people over 112, with some over 150. The Democrats fighting the cuts in fraud and waste is a loosing strategy but they don't get it. Their only response is to fight everything Trump is trying to do which worked in 2017 but not in 2025. I think Scott Jennings said it best. Trump is taking a position that 80% of the public agrees with and the Democrats automatically are forced to side with the 20%.
