And now for some insanity from the modern day democrats in my home state.

Is this why people still vote Democrat? Because they want to be referred to as or refer to others as an "inseminated person"? They don't like 'mother' and 'father'? Let's bring DOGE to the state level so we can fire the worthless imbeciles who wasted my money coming up with this crap.

I'll refrain from the crude jokes that have popped into my head.

MADISON, WI (WSAU) – Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers’s office introduced a bill on Friday afternoon that would change the way a Wisconsin state law addresses biological women and men.

According to the bill known as 2025 Senate Bill 45, which was first reported on by conservative radio host Dan O’Donnell, Section 3106 contains numerous examples of terms such as wife, husband, mother, and father being crossed out and removed in favor of terms like spouse, person, and even inseminated person.

I honestly think it would be a great idea if every state stood up its own efficiency office… have it report directly to the governor… keep all departments and offices on their toes and ensure they’re not wasteful in spending…

Not a single D governor would go for it…

But there’s no reason Texas and other states can’t commit themselves to more efficient spending and operations

Many of them are, including Texas.

Dear Foxy, I will try to answer you if there is even a fraction of a question in your post: if not, then I will just comment.
I assure you, no one on the Trump team, like Trump himself, likes Russians. And this is natural: Russians are not 100 bucks to be loved by everyone. The point is different: Russia exists, and nothing can be done about it.
There were opinions that it was necessary to save 8% of US GDP and spend it on the war with Russia. It is possible (to save and spend), but will there be a result? There is no analytical law here, just pure empiricism: it didn't work out. Those who tried and persisted died, physically. Sometimes together with his people.
Americans are an inventive and wealthy people, they know how to use various levers to move nations like pieces on a chessboard. They can portray the fascist coup d'etat as a triumph of democracy, and vice versa (I'm not scolding, I'm envious). But there are basic patterns, they were formulated by Marshal Montgomery in his speech in the House of Commons: "....we must first be clear about certain rules of war. Rule 1, on page 1 of the Book of War, is: "Do not march on Moscow". Various people have tried it, .... and it is no good. That is the first rule. I do not know whether your Lordships will know Rule 2 of war. It is: "Do not go fighting with your land armies in China."" There were other rules, but they are irrelevant.
I have the impression that Trump and his team are just smart enough to understand this and not waste trillions of dollars and millions of young lives on a deliberately non-profitable enterprise. However, historical changes are quite possible, and someone will want to rewrite the Book of War - a flag in his hands and a drum around his neck.
Vashper,
Your text is difficult for me to translate and I don't quite know what you're getting at.
In any case, the Russian army didn't tear up much in the First World War and in the Second the German Wehrmacht would have grabbed Josef Stalin by the balls.
Only the Land/Lease Agreement with Roosevelt saved Russia.
In two world wars, only the intervention of the USA brought about the turnaround.
Montgomery or no Montgomery.

Exactly why I don't purchase Apple products

Why not. They did the right thing and did not give the UK government a backdoor. Only the UK cell subscribers will not have security features, and they know that.
Apple spies on everyone. They have their own back doors.

A retired Air National Guard Three-Star, the new Chairman of the Joint Chiefs is an unusual choice.

I personally was hoping it would be some Admiral who's a PACOM hawk and wants more ships, but Gen Caine isn't a super crazy pick if you look into his background.

Very unusual but what's usual nowadays?

Trump has liked him since 2018… he would have very likely have picked up a fourth star already had Trump got his second term back to back with his first..

My guess is the fact that’s he’s something of an outsider is what’s appealing about him.. he’s got a successful business background, which Trump is going to like.. and he’s not tainted in Trumps eye like most of the senior GO’s that just spent the last four years serving under Biden..

Trump is hypersensitive to woke, DEI, etc.. and is sticking with long time loyalists in this cabinet.. I don’t think he’s prepared to risk a chairman that’s not going to fall in line quickly and stay in line..

I think that is correct. It somewhat follows the pattern Rumsfeld took when Shinseki retired and he replaced him with Pete Schoomaker whom he pulled out of retirement. In Rumsfeld's view, the Army was tainted (proud to say that I helped give him that view), because we were not enamored with the notion of cutting end strength by thirty percent and depending on the Air Force for fire support. 911 and the somewhat less than decisive results of shock and awe put that notion to bed.

I rather doubt that this guy will be particularly enamored with the novel notion of discarding manned aircraft.

I hope he turns out to be a blue clad George C. Marshall.

He'll be confirmed, but he will have a challenging hearing because the dems will attempt to paint him as a purely political choice.

Agree… if there was a D majority he’d have a very small chance… but with the current R majority, he’ll be confirmed…

I’m actually really hopeful we see a lot of crying, whining, and general clownery out of Schiff, Schumer, et al… the more buffoonery the better…

They haven’t figured out that ship has sailed and the American people don’t really buy it anymore… the longer the D’s keep adhering to their old playbook, the better… it’s a losing formula..

Interesting item I learned from this latest video by Ward "Mooch" Carroll is the Chairman position is required to be filled by either the Vice Chairman, Service head or combatant commander. Trump's selection of retired Lt/Gen Dan "Rasin" Caine doesn't meet those criteria.

This was a video Gen CQ Brown made during the George Floyd and BLM stuff a few years ago. How anyone can have a problem with what he said is beyond me.

Dan Craine was one of the first F-16 pilots to get airborne after 9/11. Interesting, short video by him:

It’s a waiverable requirement with approval from the senate…

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary
