My number one pet peeve on AH is hunters complaining about problems they’ve encountered without realizing they are problem. Spend a little more money and do things properly. Instead of an auction hunt with random PH plan the hunt you’d like with a quality outfitter. If your scope breaks on two safaris probably time to upgrade to Leupold or a European scope. Clearing costs have gotten high but can be reasonably estimated with a well established broker whose only call will be where do you want trophies sent. It seems many don’t want to learn from their mistakes or other’s mistakes. Their punishment is ongoing.
