Ramshot Hunter powder

“Smilin old Larry“ does have some powder, he just increased the prices by 2 and 3 dollars per pound on the powder, even the powder he had available over yesterdays morning prices. I bot a pound of Ramshot Hunter yesterday at the LGS for $30.00 and they had a decent inventory….powder is showing up now, lots of pistol powder and they had IMR and Hodgdon at decent pricing. Primers are the concern.

Around here powder is just as scarce as primers. I think I missed out on primers the other day as they had lots of small rifle but nothing else. I have lots of SM and rarely load anything with them, its LR I use mostly.

I need some. Anyone know a trustworthy place to order from? None of the usual places have any, and typically the scammers have it. Gunbroker has one seller with some but with shipping its over $100 a pound!

A couple weeks ago Scheels in Sioux Falls had Hunter in 8 pounds. I don’t know where you are located but other Scheels may have it.

Ramshot X-Terminator is slightly faster, and Ramshot TAC is slightly slower, but all three are pretty close.

I use it in 357 mag mainly for my Marlin lever. It works well also in my 300 Blackout.
Hodgdon originally created it for 410 shotguns.

Ramshot Hunter is in stock at Midway USA as of today. Slowly the powder situation is getting better.

Price is $34.49/lb and limit is 2 pounds. With hazmat and shipping, price works out to about $49/lb.

I ordered two pounds... or so I thought!! Stupid me, didnt check carefully the amount I had coming till a couple days later, then got notice from UPS of delivery status, said 1 pound! WHAT?!?! I ordered two!
Well no I didnt, I ordered just one!
So had to order again and then pay AGAIN for shipping and haz mat!!! So I really screwed the pooch on this order.
One came yesterday, the next set for Monday.
What a maroon!
