RCBS Chargemaster opinions?

I can get an older combo for the same price as a new link. Does anyone know a reason to choose the combo over link or vice versa?

I have both. I actually prefer the older model. It is easier to use and empty. It has over 25,000 rounds through it and works perfectly.

Have been using the Chargemaster for about 10 years. Absolutely love it and has really helped my reloading workflow. I don’t use any of the discharge tune inserts.
I load everything from the extruded to ball powders and have not had a problem with metering. Sometimes it will overthrow by a small amount when using powder like 4064 but it is not enough that I need to use a Mcdonalds straw or something similar.

I’ve got one used and it has has made my reloading much more streamlined. I mostly use Vhitavouri powders. I occasionally get it throwing in slightly more than I set, but it tells you so you can toss the powder back in the top and it will do a new one. Really easy to use too.
I really like my charge master. I use a small lee powder dipper to scoop out a little when it throws a heavy charge.

The auto powder dispenser....

How deep do you want to run this rabbit?

The 100% fastest most accurate in the process is a Prometheus hands down. I had one for about 10 years it was expensive at the time. I was shooting PRS back then and going through 5k rounds a year (reloads not counting factory ammo or rimfire). I could load 220 round in 1 hour, all within. 02gr from one charge to another. I do not shoot like that anymore so I sold it.

I kept my auto trickler V3, it work well for what it is. Also accurate to .02gr of powder. Can easily do 180 rds an hour. It have move versatility as far as changing charge weights. It is also less than 1/4 the cost of the Prometheus.

RCBS makes a Mastermatch I have read good reports. No personal experience with them. If that's all I could afford I would be willing to try it.

Yes my goals are shoot as tight as the rifle can. I know not everyone is looking for that. Maybe this information will help the ones that are.
