Relive Taxidermy - Christmas in June to be delivered by Safari Specialty Importers!

I am not a big fan of skulls but really like that done that way. As time goes and the room I have gets smaller some skulls maybe in my future and this could be the answer for me liking skulls mounts.

Royal - Very nice. I may have to get a wooden cutout of Africa and get creative. I have a wildebeest and Impala skull looking for a home!

WOW! Nice shield with skull mounts, I'm admittedly jealous right now!

All Paul's idea. My plan had been to get a couple of them put on plaques and leave the rest oose and display on tables or floor. It really turned out well.

It really does make it moore art like. That sucker is about 40 inches wide though, so you need some space.... It could though, go in another room and wouldn't have to be with all of the other mounts?

I like the shield, an original idea for mounting your skulls.

Royal, looks great !!!!! If this is a sample of his work the rest should be amazing......

I think your small antelope mounts from what I could see looked wonderful!

The shield with the skull mounts looks great! ...I bet that thing isnt light!

Not sure how heavy that wood is.... my crate ain't going to be light though. ... that I know!

fingers crossed that they charge by volume rather than weight!

That's great news buddy! I can attest to how pleased you will be with your trophies as I saw them just last month when I visited with Paul. He is a gentleman and his work was very good. Hey I left my two trophies from my mini safari with him and plan on using him next year. By the way your buff looks awesome. As did Bill's giraffe. After seeing his work I agree with Bill he's one of the good ones.

Royal will need to list what he has in the crate but I will tell you his crew gets the crating done well.

My crate was 8'long 4'high and 40" wide. It had a full mount lioness, ped eland,4 springbucks,orbi,2bushbuck.black wildebeest,2impala. 11 animals total and paul made his crew do the crate over when they made it to big the first time. He will not just spend your money on shipping by over sizing the crate to make it easy on themselves.
Hey Bill, you better get that giraffe home quick Paul was saying something to me along the lines of wanting to take it home.LOL

Thanks JB!!!

I can't wait to see them live. Bill said this before, but I will repeat. It is kinda weird having people see your trophies before you! LOL! If you will recall, I saw his lioness when I was over there.

You'll be very happy!

Happy for you Royal.

Looks like Christmas is coming early.(y)

Your just lucky your stuff will be gone before I get to pauls in aug. Not sure your buff would have looked the same if I could get my hands on in. First buff with bright pink lips would have been coming your way.

Man....

You put one set of fangs on one killer giraffe and some folks just hold a grudge for life!

Well the Christmas in June ended up being August, but it is here!

More and better pictures later, but this is a start. Overall I'm pleased. And, my wife now knows exactly how big my buffalo is....
