Not exactly an Africa rifle but nice anyway.
A Krieghoff bergstutzen that I think is custom made by Krieghoff.
First made as a combinationgun 16/7x65R 1967 and rebuilt and fitted with
a 222 rem barrel to be an bergstutzen in 1968.
This is my guess,I haven't found any info on internet.
Thinking about to bring it on my next South Africa safari,but don't know.

This beautiful ONE OF A KIND rifle chambered for .257 Weatherby Magnum Custom rifle was owned by Herb Klein, who was a Dallas oil tycoon and world-renowned big game hunter & one of the founders of Weatherby. He was one of the best big game hunters in the world. In the mid 60's the legendary recording artist, jazz pianist/singer, Buddy Greco obtained this rifle from Mr. Klein who was a fan. Buddy said he would never forget that it was delivered to him wrapped in newspapers. The gun is in perfect condition. It has extensive gold inlay including trigger and bolt, and has Mr. Klein's name engraved on the bottom of the stock. Also mother of pearl inlays. This is a very unique one of a kind rifle and highly collectible.

I use a 458 Lott (23'' barrel, 480 woodleigh bullet soft and solid) for 15 years and I had to back up, elephants, hippos, buffaloes (from Benin, CAR and Tanzania), lions and other game and I never been disappointed in the field. Excellent caliber for hunters and PH. Just my experience.

This was my game scout in Chirisa area, Zimbabwe. He is the one who actually spotted my buff. At any rate, i thought it was damn funny (and scary) that he carried this AK with the words "LOOSE SAFETY CATCH" written on the stock in marker.

Its a one shot Kipplauf with outside handpressure.
Mounted a Zeiss Vario Lightpoint with ASV 3-10x50
in .308 Win mag.This caliber is the border for the light weapon.
Just a beauty,light,short(98cm), Americans say"very bushy" and absolutly precise.I use a 150 gr. RWS ID classic.
But since last year I try leadfree bullets(HDB Reichenberg 150gr also),highly controversial (right word?)in Germany,but you have no hamatoms in the meat and so much easier to sell .
