My brother-in-law and I just jointly went in on a Rigby Big Game in .375H&H from @GENTZ SPORTING ARMS. Jason was awesome as usual! I am also really impressed by Rigby’s “Grade 5” wood, which is their standard entry grade! Well done @RIGBY!!

I love the idea.... but I would live in eternal fear of being the one to put the first big gouge in it. :)

Beautiful rifle!

Stunning piece of timber on that rifle. Congratulations on acquiring a very nice rifle. Hope it accompanies you and your brother-in-law on many adventures

You were very lucky, I've never seen another standard grade 5 stock like that on a Rigby Big Game before, that's a beautiful piece of wood.
Agreed. I've seen many standard grade Rigby stocks that looked (I hate to use the word) plain for a $15K+ rifle. Or at least they looked that way in pictures (very possible they are nicer in the flesh). I always assumed I'd be going the upgrade route (grade 7+) if I ever ordered a Rigby, but I'd be thrilled with that wood. Congrats!

Well done!

I agree, that is the best piece of grade 5 wood I have ever seen.
Agreed that would the beautiful grade 5 I’ve ever seen, even in pictures.

I remember a couple of years ago someone posted a pic of a Rigby rifle that was new and for sale somewhere in Africa, that had a stock that appeared to be maid out of forklift pallet lumber.

That's a great idea. Especially for us Gomers, that want to go on one DG hunt, then have a 416 or a Lott that is of no use to them in the elk woods. Have your hunt, then hand it down to the next guy. Too bad you got stuck with a sapwood board on that gun (ha)..........Couldn't ask for more I don't think.....FWB

Beautiful Franz! What a great DG rifle from a historic rifle maker in a historic cartridge! One couldn’t ask for more…

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
