Ruger RSM 458 Lott (NIB) For Sale

Excellent wood on an outstanding rifle.
IMO, the best of the Ruger RSM line, nicely balanced and these later year production rifles had slightly slimmer stocks and the .458 was better balanced.

I’m surprised that didn’t sell. Was there a separate level of 550 to get that upgraded wood?
Yes. They call it Fancy grade. When you order from CZ and asked for fancy grade and specify they use to pick good stock. But you can't any more as they stoped production.

Dreamt of these rifles growing up. I used to see them in African Hunting Gazettes which were quite rare in SA in my youth. I’ve never seen one in person but this one looks remarkable.

I’m curious how a gun that was discontinued ~15 years ago remains new in box today? Did you buy multiples when these were new? Found this example collecting dust at the back of the Ruger Warehouse? Bought this from a successive line of people that buy but never shoot their riffles?

Some come from Ruger warehouse and some collectors who let go of them . I have a few come from Ruger employees that were sold or reserved which did not go to retailers, which they sold

I have couple of Model 71 , 348 winchesters built in 1956 NIB . THAT IS LONG TIME.

Very nice. Wish Ruger would wake up and produce the RSM again. Big market for it I think compared to what alternatives cost. Ruger must be asleep

Krish is the King! He and I were exchanging pictures recently of some of the rifles in our respective collections. I have some very nice guns that I am quite proud of. Near the end of our exchange, like Mike Tyson in his prime with a right upper-cut, Krish sent me photos of some of his high-end & rare stuff that sent me to the canvas. I was K.O.d. I told him that I was glad that he waited until near the end of our exchange to do that, because I would've never even opened my safe if he would've sent those in the beginning of our chat. He isn't a firearm aficionado, he is the caretaker of a museum.

Well if you have a 375H&H RSM in the collection I would be very interested

Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
To much to political shit, to little Africa :-)
Spending a few years hunting out west then back to Africa!

Hello. If you haven't already sold this rifle then I will purchase. Please advise. Thank you.

I doubt you are interested in any trades but I was getting ready to list a Sauer 404 3 barrel set in the 10-12 price range if your interested. It has the 404J, 30-06 and 6.5 Creedmoor barrel. Only the 30-06 had been shot and it has 7 rounds through it as I was working on breaking the barrel in. It also has both the synthetic thumbhole stock and somewhere between grade 3-5 non thumbhole stock
