$1900 shipped (Add $150 for Kodiak stock). This is a Sako 85 .375 H&H Kodiak. I absolutely love this rifle. I originally bought it to be my "one rifle to hunt the world". I've only hunted hogs with it and shot it at the range. With higher bc Nosler 260gr Accubonds, it can actually hit out to astounding distances. Here are some notes on it:

1. This rifle is really accurate. Sub MOA at 100 yards. For a while I couldn't get my Blaser R8 to shoot near as good as it. May have as many as 150 - 200 rounds of .375 I've fired through it, can't remember.

2. Has custom radial brake. Brake is very effective and "quieter" than some of your other brakes. Our best local gunsmith thread custom made a brake so that it is the same diameter as the barrel and fits under the front sight post. Really takes the sting out of a .375.

3. You can have your pick of stock. I actually prefer the old beat up synthetic stock. It is lighter and absorbs recoil better than the original wood Kodiak stock. If you want the Kodiak stock instead, please add $150 to the price.

3. Removed the circle as it is too big to hit a target at 100 yards. It's just the blade, as you can see in the pictures. Also will come with Burris steel picatinny mounts, so you can mount your regular rings to the rifle.

4. For those of you not familiar with Sako, they are made in Finland, in same factory as Tikka. They have 60 degree bolt, that is really fast and slick. After using Sako/Tikka, I won't use anything else except Blaser. The Sako Long Actions have a known issue with rounds hitting the bottom of a scope. In my experience, the solution is to cycle the action with authority, not gently, and it should kick it out. This rifle may have been discontinued, I'd really like to keep it, but I'm investing in some Pulsar thermal stuff, and have to fund that project as I have a Blaser .375.

5. I'll be selling the Z5i 2.4-12 scope, later on. It's a lightweight and very clear (92% light transmission) scope. Not included with rifle.

I'm really sad to sell this, but I've transitioned to the Blaser R8, even though the Sako still feels more natural in my hand. Would be interested in a partial trade for a Swarovski Z8i 1.7-13.3, Blaser Stuff. Will likely also list elsewhere, including Gunbroker

So is the rifle sold or the scope or both? Thanks

Do you still have the Z8i 1-8 for sale?
How much are you asking for it and are you interested in any trades other than the 1.7-13.3?

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
