In 2022, I had a great experience with Leopard's Valley Safaris in SA. My PH used his phone with a Phone Skope attachment to record my shots (through his spotting scope). I didn't think much about it at the time, but I've found myself watching those videos again and again. So, I bought a spotting scope and Phone Skope, and I've been dragging it on hunts (Canada, Sweden, Greenland). However, I've never been able to use it successfully (in medium-to-fast paced hunting, someone besides the shooter needs to run it).

I'm trying to find a solution to this problem. I want to record my shots/hunts. This led me to attachments that connect directly to your scope, but with any recoil, I'm missing my actual shot/impact. Of course, I could hire a videographer to follow me around, but I'm guessing the cost could be significant...and for some of these remote hunts, it's simply not an option.

So my question is, does anyone have a solution to this problem? Does anyone else record their hunts/shots?

I would think Triggercam or Tacticam FTS could be a solution for you.

Edit: and a GoPro for body cam type footage.

When I was in Croatia, my guide had a Hikmicro scope that had built in video. Quite impressive, but looks like bother available in the USA.

My concern is bigger bore rifles...I don't think I can keep a 375 steady enough to spot the shot/hit. Does that make sense? Thanks.

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John [redacted]
