Showcase your Dangerous Game hunting cartridges

My .425,
.375 H&H,
7x57 (it HAS been used on Dangerous Game, don't think I will...)

I suppose I could add the 12GA, .300 Win Mag and .303 British to the list as all these have been/ are still being used for Dangerous Game. As stated by @grand veneur however, dangerous doesn't necessarily equate to "largest".

Interesting choices, what made you decide to own two 375s and two 416s?
Haha…well actually a variety of CZ, Brno, Winchester M70 and Rem 700 chambered in two 375 H&H, two 416 Rigby, one 416 Rem Mag, one 375 RUM and one 458 Lott. I’m a sucker for good deals and I need to stay off the various online gun auctions/internet gun sales!

It wasn’t that long ago all I possessed for a large caliber rifle was a 375 RUM but with a renewed interest in African hunting, large caliber rifles and thanks to this site, I’ve acquired a few more. I should be more like BeeMaa and just have an R8 Blaser with a couple barrels!

Very good find and purchase buckstix. Getting all those new cases let alone the bullets is a heaven sent as 10.75 components are not always easy to come by.
My own 404 started life as a 10.75x68 only as a Type A Pattern No.1 and with serial no 109624 it was made in same 1930-31 year range as yours.

I have a few of the original early RWS 347gr bullets to hand that were made for the 10.75x68 and a couple of old rounds, one a Kynoch with a solid bullet and the other a Berdan primed case that had an odd 285gr Hollow Point bullet seated in it. I pulled the bullet to ascertain it's weight and found there was no powder in what I thought was a loaded round but it has the original unfired Berdan primer. This cartridge was given to me years ago by a friend so I don't know how it came to be as it was with a strange case, Berdan primer and bullet.

Kynoch made these for rapid expantion on the big cats..
How old are those? Don’t shoot those and especially don’t get rid of that box. Classic and collectible, obsessed Rigby guys (we need therapy) would love to own that!

Interesting that they stamp the base of there bullets. I was always told that marking this would affect accuracy.

Practice rounds. Yet to get to the real damage ones.
