Thompson/Center Encore in 30-06, walnut stock by High Plains Gunstocks.
Ruger #1, also in 30-06, standard.
Ruger #1 in 300 Win Mag, custom wood with carving, checkering, and stippling.

I just purchased this Dakota #10 in 243 Winchester and can't wait to take it to the range and shoot it next week.

I have to say it is the most elegant firearm I've ever owned!

I know it is a sin to covet thy neighbor's property, but I cannot help it with this rifle. Simply gorgeous.

Spectacular collection! Enjoy.....

As @odonata said, the no 1 makes a wonderful brush, stalk, and tight quarters gun.

Here's my Ruger no 1 in 308.
This is my primary deer rifle. I'm somewhere north of 25 whitetail and a couple dozen pigs with this weapon.
It likes 150gr accubonds over varget.

Jard trigger at 1.5 lbs is light and crisp and far better than the clunky factory unit but it is a fiddly install.

It's such a sweet little gun for tight quarters, blinds, and stalking through brush.

Very Nice. I have a timey trigger in a Ruger 77 RMS set at about 1.75 lbs that works great.

I have a late 70's 77rsi in 30-06 that was my dad's. Thought about a trigger upgrade but it requires a good bit of material removed from the stock.

Is that what you had to do?

I sold all my Rugers so now I'm down to only one, a Kreighoff Hubertus in .30R Blaser. It's a keeper! During its first season at home I took a couple of young of young animals with it. This year I used it to take a young mule deer. Wonderful rifle, accurate, well balanced, elegant.

Maybe a bit off beat... but it is a single shot. It is still new enough to me that I haven't hunted it.

CVS Scout pistol, in 6.5 Grendel. I am working on a promising load using 156 grain Lapua Mega bullets.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
