So.......what COMPANIES do you dislike?

Let's not forget the Savage rebate offer that I had rejected because I didn't send the original item code. The Client service rep opens my file on the computer - "Oh, Mr USMA84DAB - I see right here in your photo the end of our box with the rifle bar code".

It is only $100, but they tried to crawdad out of their word, just like.... (drumroll)....

THE VETERAN'S ADMINISTRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing is to good for our veterans, so that is what we give them,,,,,.....nothing! Just my opinion

#1 DELTA AIRLINES still stuck in the DEI ideology like Costco and Disney, Ben and Jerry.

I’ve got a pretty long list… mostly companies that push liberal agendas or involve themselves in politics..

I could care less if someone is liberal or conservative individually… but keep your political and social agendas out of my coffee, shoes, and investment portfolio..

Nike
Anheuser-Busch
Dicks
Starbucks
Blackrock
Patagonia
Target
Disney
NFL

Cabela’s pushing Redhead logo’d clothing

Maverick gas stations using changing, bait and switch fuel price advertising signs

Any company that has pushed WOKE DEI crap
I blame Bass Pro...

Heym USA. The person that runs this leg of the company is useless!
My experience has been quite the opposite! I have called the company twice and both times Chris Sells has answered the phone and then answered my question and found me a solution in the first call. Their service has been impressive.

Well, we've done firearms and calibers............so, what companies do you dislike, for whatever reason. I have three (at the moment)

Remington: I've never seen a company that loves to take something good (or in some instances, great), and turn around and cheapen it to the point where it is worth it...........welcome to Remington arms. For the record, I have several older Remington firearms that I cherish hunting with, but the stuff they are putting out now.........it's pure crap!! Plastic parts which were formerly metal, the break easily and replacement parts that are way too expensive for what they cost to make............it's almost as if it were planned. No thanks; newer Remington firearms will never find a place in my gun cabinet. They also have decided to quit supplying reloading components, which has left me in a bit of a lurch. Guess this is what happens when a good "family" business gets bought by a "conglomerate".

Hodgdon Powder company: Hodgdon powder company bought the Winchester powder line and the DuPont powder line.........then promptly discontinued many of the offerings (as well as some of their own) without having ready substitutes or data. Then they made the "big announcement" of "new" powders, which they promptly discontinued after about 5 years (once people had bought the stuff and worked up loads for it). When they came out with their "new" data book, I bought it, thinking that there would be new loads for the new powders. what did I find? Data listing all the old powders which they discontinued over 20 or so years ago! don't bother to complain; they do not reply. In addition, the powders that they supposedly do still manufacture have been off the shelves for years!!! They really do not know how to treat the people that are their "bread and butter", nor do they care. I guess military contracts are worth more than sportsmen and women.

Alliant Powder company: This is the company that I hate the most! I hope it goes belly up and its CEO and board members rot in hell! Last year, Alliant decided it would no longer sell to the general public. It wasn't really a surprise, as just about ANY Alliant powder was impossible to find! I started reloading shotgun shells using green dot, red dot, Herco, Unique, and blue dot. When I started shooting handguns, I added 2400, and when they came out with STEEL, I started reloading steel shotshells and hevi shot in earnest. When they brought back their rifle powders, I started using reloader 7 and Reloader 19......now to find that all the money I spent on working up loads using these powders is now useless and obsolete! I'm glad I loaded up a TON of steel shotshells, because STEEL was the ONLY powder that gave good performance in a nontoxic handload.........and now I'm left in a lurch if I wish to load any more.
Oh, and don't bother to try and contact them............as with Hodgdon, they don't give a damn about your opinions or concerns............its just crickets!

So how abought it..............now is you time to vent!!! What companies do you hate?
Can't say I disagree with anything you say about Remington Firearms. Though I remember a couple of fine rifles, the Model 51 and then later the Model 798. The old model 11 shotgun. I quit looking at them in the early 60's, though I I do have a Model Nylon 66. BUT....we should all be grateful to Remington for bringing some longstanding wildcats into the world of production cartridges - .35 Whelen being one, there quite a few others... and remember , it's the .44 REMINGTON Magnum....

As stated, BassPro/Cabelas. Poor selection - pushing junk self branded products. Few quality national brands. Retail stores now just glorified flea-markets. Once incredible displays areas now trashed with sale racks, etc, So sad.

Any company that doesn’t make a quality product and stand by it. I don’t care one bit about the political leanings of a company. If chairman mao made a quality double at the right price I’d give it a look.

So with that criteria.

Reebok. I’ve never had a pair that fit right or lasted.

Cabelas and Basspro. The ability of their stuff has gone to crap. They used ti carry other brands in the stores but now just their own labels that are basically poor imitations.

Cabelas and Bass Pro are quickly becoming everything that is wrong with a company! It's about nothing more than miximum profit!
