@Peter Larsson those are some stunning knives. Im still very new to the hobby but your an inspiration. Would love to come over to Sweden one day and learn from you on the leather work and handle making. My leather work is crude to say the least

I just make knives because I think it's fun.
Just a hobby when there is nothing else to do.
Me too. I started when I had an enforced break from work during the summer. My problem is I always seem to have other bits and bobs to do but yes I love spending time in the garage playing with steel.

Beautiful work. I imagine you have plenty of free time between your winters and Covid?
Yes! My woork have been closed down for over a month. Hunting with my kind of dog ended last January so now I don't really what to do. Have hunted hare with friends some days this february.
Guess it will be some days in the garage knife makeing! Or maybe smoke some meat and make some sausages!

everything he makes is top drawer.

One more in "safari style".
This time a smaller one.
Sheath of cape buffalo leather and ostrich leg skin.
Handle of stabilized birsh burl.

That's a wrap, on our first hunt of this years season.

Hunting conditions are a bit tougher in South Africa during the month of February, but can be just as rewarding if done right.
